I fully expected a NG verdict. It would have been highly irresponsible for them to have an abuse victim convicted of attempted murder for defending herself. Also, that’s why they had Geoff explode like that, to ensure the jury saw the real him and made the right decision. Plus it’s the big anniversary week- they weren’t going to have Yasmeen go down this week.

Oh ffs! As if Geoff would have tried to carry on as husband and wife like nothing happened.

I know there are quite a few legal bods on Mumsnet so would appreciate a question being answered. I thought Imran was just a solicitor, (Not sure of his speciality. Perhaps litigation?) Could he just step into a barrister role? I understood barrister training to be different altogether. 🤔.
