Yes it is the Prior Attire one. If you can, you definitely should go, it's great fun. Most of the people are super nice (except for some snobs who think if you haven't hand sewn a gown using pure silk and unicorn tears you are a failure and shouldn't have been allowed in). I have only done the ball, I haven't yet attempted to join in with the day events like boating and the picnic.

I remember your fabulous gowns from last year now. The ball is on my one day list.

Did you put up a picture of your dress last year dillite? I'd love to see it if you did.

I have some crystallised unicorn tears in my "notions" box if you would like them for embellishment.

After I made a unicorn cry by telling him that Michael Gove was real, I felt too ashamed to use them . . .

I wonder if anyone on this thread would like to join a little virtual stitch and bitch? It might be cheeky but i have a question or two and thought that the ever so talented ladies on here might be able to help and maybe also like a place to gather in between Sewing Bee seasons?

I just said that to DH....quite aspirational for someone who said she'd never used a sewing-machine before.

I have used a machine and I wouldn't attempt a zip under these circumstances!
