Who are you ordering the jigsaw from private ?

Oh, Jane not good on the washing machine front Angry

Another lovely day here, weather wise, and more new parts of the village explored on our walk today.

PrivateSpidey · 07/05/2020 20:18

WH Smith kazza. They were all out of stock/delivery delays or something when I first ordered. But they seem to have a few on there now. Amazon do as well but they're a bit pricey atm.

I've been doing a Harry Potter one with DS too but it's driving me nuts! (Even though it claims to be for Age 8+ Hmm) I don't like them to be too challenging! Grin

Good work with exploring the village. We found a snicket/ginnel/alley Grin we didn't know about the other day. It's only about 2 mins from our house as well and it's a handy shortcut to the park.

Jane hope the machine arrives ASAP. What a pain.

magimedi · 07/05/2020 22:41

How about , *Private?

Hadn't thought of that song for years, until you mentioned your jigsaw!!

PrivateSpidey · 07/05/2020 23:05

magi I might have been thinking of that because when I looked, the puzzle is actually called Postcard from Paris Grin

Close enough!

Raahh · 08/05/2020 08:34

It is Benoit's birthday today CakeWineGin. Quite a few tennis players have/had birthdays in May- Andy, Novak, Foggy, Grigor, Dan Evans, Fred Perry Grin

I'm sure Benoit will celebrate in style.

And it's VE day. No flag from MN- so here's a Bear just because.

Raahh · 08/05/2020 08:36

Leonardo Mayer and Andy, iirc were born on exactly the same day.

I'm a bit bored today. I've been awake since 2am. Dh is getting on my nerves, and the dog is snoring loudly. Grin.

magimedi · 08/05/2020 08:55

Want me to help you dig a patio, Raahh? Grin

More lunacy from Djock HERE

PrivateSpidey · 08/05/2020 09:09

What is he up to, honestly? Djok I mean. Hmm Hmm

Thanks for the birthday updates Raahh Grin And bon anniversaire to Benoit Wine

Raahh · 08/05/2020 09:10

Grin I have a spade ready, magi

Djok, the gift that keeps on giving.

Has he met The Donald? I feel like they would get on.

kazzaD66 · 08/05/2020 09:38

Oh dear God! Djok has surpassed himself. When you think he couldn't be any more ridiculous....Hmm

I'm sure Benoit will have a great birthday. Perhaps he could celebrate with a virtual party with Stan. Plenty of toxic water alcohol and cake, perhaps a BBQ? Grin

I think I saw that Sir David Attenborough is 94 today.

Fizzywinegum · 08/05/2020 09:46

Happy birthday Beardy Benoit! Cake

I always knew that there was something not quite right about Djok and now it’s all coming out - hopefully people won’t take him seriously.

DH is confused by the days because it’s a bank holiday here today - he was wondering why gogglebox wasn’t on last night Grin. He will probably end up getting on my nerves but he’s making slow cooked lamb later so don’t think the patio will be needed here quite yet!

I was dreaming about my hairdresser and holidays last night - these are obviously my priorities at the minute!

Hope everyone has a good day.

PrivateSpidey · 08/05/2020 09:47

Grin yes I'd like to know what those two would make of the sacred geometry etc.

I didn't know it was the guru that got him doing that on-court celebration though Hmm

Raahh · 08/05/2020 11:03

Happy Birthday Sir David!Cake
I've been trying to keep the dog quiet, during the 2 minute silence. We have just had a walk. He was very panty.

Raahh · 08/05/2020 11:04

So now we know who to blame for the on court celebration thing.

We need to hunt down the guru and chop his arms off

Raahh · 08/05/2020 11:06

I did see something on FB about the fact we are all confused about what day it is anyway- and now Bank Holiday Monday is on a Friday Grin.

PrivateSpidey · 08/05/2020 11:14

Grin yep it could be any day tbh, it's all blending into one, like Groundhog Day.

Raahh · 08/05/2020 11:21

I bet the groundhogs are all pissing themselves laughing at us now. Grin.

JaneJeffer · 08/05/2020 11:30

"or even worse having nervous discussions and conflictual (sic) discussions at the table with your close ones during your meal.”
Does this include "you'll be eating your dinner at the bottom of the garden if I hear any more complaints"? Asking for a friend.

Thanks for that article magi. I've learnt a new word but I'm only able to say it in an Aussie accent.

No need for any patio digging - just send toxic messages to your DH's food. Even Barnaby wouldn't be able to solve that one.

Fizzywinegum · 08/05/2020 11:32

Grin yes we don’t need any more confusion about what day it is!

If Gogglebox isn't on tonight I’ll be very confused!

It seems a bit of a waste having a Bank Holiday when we can’t really do anything Hmm. I’m still hoping to avoid the VE street party. DH had to do a detour this morning at the local shops to avoid the main instigator Grin. It’s not as if we can say we’ve got other plans!

Djoks ‘guru’ has got a lot to answer for!

kazzaD66 · 08/05/2020 12:32

Just back from our daily walk. A few Union Jacks and bunting around the village. Also a tricolore, apparently, the bloke living there is French Smile

PrivateSpidey · 08/05/2020 13:06

Jane Grin Barnaby would be all over it - but only after coincidentally, Joyce was reading a novel featuring a strange ritual involving poisoning food with thoughts. And then it finally dawned on him. Or something Grin

I haven't actually been outside yet today (except for the garden). Our street has quite a bit of bunting/flags etc so will have to go and check it out at some point I suppose! That's good about the Tricolore kazza Smile

JaneJeffer · 08/05/2020 14:27

I love Judy Grin

kazzaD66 · 08/05/2020 15:15

Gotta love Judy!
I think it's where Andy gets his sense of humour Grin

Fizzywinegum · 08/05/2020 20:36

I like the Murray’s dry sense of humour Smile. I think Andy is often misunderstood because not everyone understands his humour.

Went for a walk and saw a heron.

Hope the VE celebrations went well WineCakeGin
