I keep my flour in the freezer to keep crawly things at bay.

It really heavy here. We're due thunderstorms and torrential rain. Great.

DS2 is ok. His legs especially are very red. I flung some bread soda in his bath last night and coated him in aloe vera which helped a bit. I told him to put sun cream on before he left but he didn't so maybe he'll listen next time!

My DS2 is not keen on wearing sun cream either Jane - the front of his arms and legs are tanned but the backs are still quite white after he went out in the sun without sun cream on a few weeks ago. I have to nag him like he’s a toddler

I'm guessing they decided to play indoors because you can't bank on the great British weather! At least rain won't stop play. Also, Wimbledon and Queens are open now for the private members, I'm guessing, so probably easier to have it isolated at the NTC.

Jane I read your post about treating your DS quickly and thought......how on earth is bunging soda bread in a bath going to help? Took another couple of rereads before my brain swapped 'soda' and 'bread' round

I must say Dan was very impressive against Cam Norrie yesterday. It’s a shame he and Andy are meeting in the Semi, I would have liked that to be the Final.

Yes, Murray vs Evans would have been my preferred final aswell. I think Andy is probably favourite because he has a day off today, whereas Dan is playing twice again today.

Just watched the Andy at Queens programme - it made me laugh when Lendl didn’t even bother to stick around for him to get his trophy

Every time I try to watch the Battle of the Brits it’s not on or Prime isn’t working

I think the first match on Wimbledon Rewind is the 2008 Roger/Rafa Final - wonder which other matches they’re going to show? Think I need to stock up on fake Aldi Pimms - I had some yesterday - it was very nice although not sure if next week is going to be Pimms weather.

The weather looks rubbish for next week doesn't it? Ah well - at least Tim won't be panicking about how to schedule matches that would have been rained off (not really a silver lining though is it).

Starks in case you're reading and wondering what I'm on about, we noticed that Andrew Castle went through a phase of mentioning butterflies all the time during commentary (ok in fairness he probably only said it about twice).

Love that Private There was a very funny word search on Emmerdale the other night. The thunder storms didn't arrive yet thank goodness but our electricity has just gone off and on again. Hope it stays on

Didn't hear any storms overnight but it's chucking it down here at the moment.

I think it's open to interpretation if that means globally or not .
