I bought some hair clippers before they all sold out. DH was my first victim, I gave him a trim and he's pleased enough with the result. Hairdressers in Ireland can start reopening on 20 July or around then - I'll be desperate by then so intend to be at the head of the stampede. I already look like an alpaca on a bad hair day so God knows what I'll look like by then

I hope the hairdressers are having a good rest because they're going to need all their energy when they get back to work

He is a miniature schnauzer- looks like a woolly mammoth. Without the tusks.

Dog wrangling is hard work!

Jane he won't even let us brush him properly (traumatic vet experience as a puppy, he is now 5) so the fact he has not had a hair cut since January, means it is getting a bit of an emergency! . (And he is probably hot)

I wonder how Sascha is getting on? He adopted about half a dozen dogs didn't he ?

At least Sascha will finally get chance to get on top of his chores

My dh is rubbish

I groom my very hairy springer spaniel outside. Last week I got masses of hair off her using a Furminator and let it blow away. DS told me he'd spotted a small bird picking up some of it & flying off into the hedge. I really love the thought of my dog's fur being used in a nest

I'd love a Carson (said in this tone of voice)

I like Kathleen's apartment though. It shows a lovely stained glass window in one of the scenes. I had window envy.

I've just seen that Roberto Bautista Agut and his wife are expecting their first baby- that is lovely - he has had such a terrible time with bereavements recently. Congratulations to them . (I'm sure Stan will send send one soon)

Fizzy I can't be bothered either, I was up at 5.30am, the days feel really long and there is bunting all over the estate where I live. We got a note through the door about the proposed V.E day stuff on Friday.

Stan will have a whole new career after this- and he does look suggestive with his food/drink- he will be sending pictures of himself in just an apron if this carries on .

There seem to be a lot of 'tennis babies' appearing this year. Serena won't be pleased. She is the only tennis player male or female to have ever had a child, after all .

I have to go to the city tomorrow morning to see my eye doctor. I'll be a nervous wreck having to go out in the world having been in my little bubble for the past couple of months.

Our neighbours are also pushing for a VE socially distanced street party - I can’t be bothered either but can’t really pretend I’m doing anything else. Stand up bingo has been mentioned - I might just get drunk in my own garden

I stayed in bed reading this morning - there didn’t seem to be much point in getting up

Still waiting for the Rafa baby - that would cheer me up - I’m sure it would be very cute

I think it’s the food more than Stan Jane - who knows - lockdown is making me have strange thoughts
