I have just been for a walk with the dog. Dh told it would rain at 12pm.

It started raining approximately half way around my walk, just as we reached the park. Still very warm though.

I saw a lot of butterflies Grin.

Magi it is endless, and repetitive. And now I've got to get my lazy 13 year old to start engaging with actual online lessons as of Monday.

I'm not meant to be doing that. I'm meant to be preparing to watch tennis. At least the fact the weather has turned, means a lot of it would have been delayed anyway. Which makes me feel a bit better.

I am hoping Sue's Wimbledon programme will fill a bit of a gap.

Raahh · 27/06/2020 11:24

We are going to need a new thread soon. A non-Wimbledon, Wimbedon thread.

Fizzywinegum · 27/06/2020 11:32

I think you need to wait until there are no cases anywhere in the world magi before you inflict semi pornographic pictures of AC on us - don’t you think we’ve suffered enough!

It is boring and relentless. I went into town this morning as I had to drop DS2 off at work. It’s the first time I’ve been since lockdown started. It was strange. I only went in M&S because I’d ordered something but don’t think I’ll be rushing back.

I’m not even excited about being able to go to the pub from next week - it looks as if you have to book a slot, numbers are limited etc - it doesn’t seem like much fun to me.

The Wimbledon rewind (I think it should be rewound) matches look good - will definitely watch Monday’s with Roger and Rafa - back in the day when Rafa had long hair.

Fizzywinegum · 27/06/2020 11:34

Yes Raahh we do seem to chat a lot even with no tennis Grin

Raahh · 27/06/2020 11:40

Yes, I am happy they have picked that final- not least because Rafa won it Grin.. I still get very stressed watching it , though, despite knowing the result.

It's also the one with Roger in his cardigan. And that always makes me laugh.

Fizzywinegum · 27/06/2020 11:44

Oh yes Roger’s cardigan - always good for a laugh Grin. I remember watching the documentary about that match and got really nervous even though I knew the result - I hope they repeat that documentary - it was really good.

kazzaD66 · 27/06/2020 12:42

magi you clearly do have too much time on your hands if you could be arsed to search for your old post Grin

It's cleared up here now but very windy.

I'm going to settle down to watch Andy vs Dan in a minute. Someone else will have to make me a sandwich for lunch Hmm

PrivateSpidey · 27/06/2020 13:02

Hope you get table/couch service kazza Grin

Totally agree with everyone re lockdown feelings Sad.

At least Sue's programme might distract us. I hope she has Hacker T Dog on. He posted today that it's 11 years since he met his future wife, Susan Barker Grin

Although I agree Fizzy, Wimbledon Rewind sounds wrong and it should be Rewound Hmm That's going to irritate me for the next two weeks.

I see the Murrays are on the front of the Radio Times this week. I have been getting it lately as DS likes going through the film guide and highlighting his selections Grin No idea where he's got that from!! (Actually I do - his mother!)

PrivateSpidey · 27/06/2020 13:05

A non-Wimbledon, Wimbedon thread.

That would be a great thread title Raahh
Tennis

Raahh · 27/06/2020 13:09

I will get onto it now, Spidey, our non-tennis waffling is filling up the thread!

Grin
Fizzywinegum · 27/06/2020 13:12

I’ve got control of the telly (for now!), Prime is working and there is (hopefully), a good match on with Murray and Evans - happy days - I wish that someone would bring me a sandwich!

I’m glad that your DS is following in your footsteps Private Grin. I should do that - I usually flick through the telly guide, think ooh that looks good and then promptly forget about it Hmm

Raahh · 27/06/2020 13:15

new thread

ready for action...

magimedi · 27/06/2020 13:43

"magi you clearly do have too much time on your hands if you could be arsed to search for your old post"

Kazza you are so right (it did only take 30 secs though). I have a cleanhouse, weed free garden & am so bored!

Fizzywinegum · 27/06/2020 13:52

OMG a red admiral butterfly just landed on the court - AC would have been in his element!

magi unfortunately my house is not tidy or my garden weed free - not quite sure what I’ve been doing in lockdown Hmm

Andy Murray doesn’t seem to particularly enjoy being interviewed at the change of ends

JaneJeffer · 27/06/2020 13:57

Me with my messy house and weed full garden.

Shall I fill this thread up so we can move to the new one?

Fizzywinegum · 27/06/2020 13:59

🎾

magimedi · 27/06/2020 13:59

Don't forget it's just me & DH here in a modern house with a small garden. No kids to feed/educate & no 'olds' to look after. I guess we are the olds, now!!

JaneJeffer · 27/06/2020 14:00

Yes
