It’s DS2’s 18th birthday today - I can’t believe that I now have two adult children . I’ve just made a cake so now I’m very hot!

Unfortunately he won’t be able to have his first (legal) pint yet!

The Gaelic pitches reopened yesterday and DS2 cycled off to meet his friend there for a bit of practise but ended up getting a flat tyre and sunburn!

Good work with the cake Fizzy! Glad it wasn't one of those cakes that we nearly had to make earlier in lockdown I can't remember how that was made now - was it brownies crumbled up and re-made into a cake?!! (Or was that a nightmare I had?).

The Podcast is doing Wimbledon re-lived next week, should be good. I also saw Wimbledon's video of the Becker-Edberg rivalry - v enjoyable to watch!!

I have just made dd2 walk to the shops with me, and almost wish I hadn't bothered. I am really struggling this week. I have absolutely got to the point where I need space. And it's not looking like it will happen any time soon.

I actually got the house to myself for one full hour on Saturday but I still ended up just cleaning the kitchen

Just looking at the order of play for the GB tournament today. It's quite full on isn't it - they are each playing every day, I hadn't really realised that.

And yes, the schedule is full on esp for those playing singles and doubles. A lot of them are playing 2 matches a day!
Could you imagine the uproar from the poor, pampered princesses (footballers) if they had to do that!

I’m surprised they’re not playing outside Starks - maybe things are easier to control indoors? It does look very hot - not sure about the interviews in between games - what if they just want to sit quietly and gather their thoughts?

I usually watch Masterchef anyway but will def watch it if Judy is on. They tend to put it on at random days and times so that will definitely confuse matters!
