Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4 and hoping it might not be long now. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

Meanwhile back on the beach, Major Rory is strolling with his young lady and issuing invitations. Is this just a holiday romance or something more?

The lads are discussing the exercise in the jungle. Sadie arrives and they try to wind her up but she does seem to take it in good part.

Rory suggests she comes to England for a holiday. Methinks he has more than just a holiday in mind.

You're right ilove that Sadie has some strange mannerisms and sounds as if she is being permanently sarcastic. I can't see that she and the army are a natural fit.

I think of Sadie as head girl in something like Mallory Towers!

Is it ironic that Rory is in Australia but he's recounting the tale of how he lost his 'Sheila'?

Sgt Connor drops a bombshell that he's being seconded to the regiment once they all go home. Now won't that be nice for them all!

I think I missed the bit about Sergeant Connor coming to England, well that'll be nice...or not.

So Rory's girlfriend is going shopping to buy some new clothes and the lads are heading into the Jungle. Pity they can't yell "I'm a celebrity...get me out of here!"

So off we go to the jungle whilst the delightful Aussie girlfriend goes on a retail therapy spree.

Jeremy says he doesn't know about "long and hot", well he's clearly learned nothing from his time in the army. I worry about him, I really do.

I would never have faith in Jeremy's orienteering skills, especially not in the jungle. I think I would have felt more confident with Bones at the helm (or Elvis of course, that goes without saying).

Ah yes, the girlfriend is called Tara! I couldn't remember and have avoided her name so far this episode!

Here's the back story - Tara's mum ran off with a soldier, so Dad doesn't really like men in uniform.

Meanwhile back at the crash site, the lads have found the crashed bomber from WWII.

Now they've found the remains of an airman, so the site is grave and they need to behave with a bit more dignity and respect.
