Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4 and hoping it might not be long now. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

I agree Savage Fingers has been a character we've come to feel was a constant in the lives of section 2 and will be missed.

As for Georgie's rudeness well quite honestly it would not really be tolerated in any way by superior officers so I think this is a bit of tv imagination that leaves reality behind.

Yeah, as they had him in hospital I was hoping, but in TV-Land all hope is futile...

Georgie and Mimi try to stem the bleeding. Lt Hurst seems to have little input in this at all. Kingy is far more dependable.

Do you thin Lt Hurst is going to have second thoughts about an army career?

It's not looking good - they have company. It's very tense, but Fingers won't make it if they can't raise a MERT. Nail biting stuff.

I love Blue! I think it's because he's not cocky like Elvis (God rest his soul) or Bones. Don't get me wrong though about Elvis but Blue is a different personality altogether.

This recording Fingers made for Marie really tugged at my heart strings. I read an article this morning about Sean Ward who plays Fingers and it sounds as if he hadn't asked to be written out. I'll try and find it later. When he found out he was to be killed off, he decided to give it his all out of respect of soldiers who have died in combat.

Fingers knows it's desperate. Oh gosh, I thought he was a goner at this point.

Poor Georgie. I don't know how much more the poor lass can take.

Dr Antonio talks Georgie through a procedure to relieve Fingers' breathing. The rest of the platoon are shooting the Taliban whilst Georgie and Mimi try to save Fingers.
