Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4 and hoping it might not be long now. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

The wind has now hit the shop and the post office. They don't look particularly strong structures. Back at the camp, it's also mayhem and then Tara is driving back in the wind and the rain...... not looking good.

There's a full scale rescue operation underway. Doctor Sadie is very busy with lots of casualties.

Tara's Dad is injured.

Oh good the dog is all right. Major Rory has rushed to post office to find out who is injured. Now he doesn't know where Tara has gone.

Molly would be up that winch like a shot, she wouldn't be sounding stressy like Dr Sadie.

Now Rory has found the car with Tara injured inside. It doesn't look good for her.

It's too late for Tara and Major Rory has to be told by Jeremy to stop his attempts to do CPR. Poor man, he's not very lucky in love and now he's charging about shouting in the rain. Here comes the mert...

Oh no, Rory has found Tara dead in her car. Do the squaddies know he was seeing her? Obviously Jeremy did.

Very few of the episodes end on such a sad note.

No, I haven't seen anything about OG with a new lead. That would be interesting - I've said lots of times that I'd like to see things told from the perspective of a female officer. It would make a change from another army medic. I fully understand why Molly was created as an army medic and Georgie continued the story, but after four series, it could be an idea to branch out a bit, especially as women can serve on the front line as infantry soldiers now. I'll have to google it.

Ok, so I googled it. Not much wiser as it sounds like speculation based on the actress being in EastEnders and looking a bit like Lacey Turner, although it's funny that she's just won "I'm a celebrity...". Might be useful Grin

Hi ladies. Once again just caught up with your comments and did laugh at one stage when Rhu got worried about them being in the jungle as it reminded her that CJ and the jungle were not a good combination. All seems such a long time ago now.

Haven't seen speculation re possible new actress for any future OG. Will have to seek that out. Not sure if I would start all over again with it as I realise I am so stuck in that first series nothing else is going to capture my interest quite like that again.

The lads are glad they are back and have some leave - Paddy is nervous Nancy might have changed her mind and Dave wonders what reception he'll get from Donna.

It is indeed a young James Nesbitt.

Paddy goes to see Nancy with a big bunch of flowers. At least she doesn't reject them out of hand like Molly did when she went to see Smurf.
