Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4 and hoping it might not be long now. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

Ahh, Nancy has missed Paddy.

Nothing like a bush hat is there - yes Macauley might grown into it if he's unlucky.

Meanwhile, Jeremy is having a night in the mess on his own with Rory.

Is there no end to Jeremy's talents? Seems he's a pianist as well as master of ceremonies and organiser of events. Maybe he's better at that than being an officer.

Oh no, Jeremy and Rory are off to do a home visit at the Tuckers.

I reckon the shoulder pads on Jeremy's suit jacket are wider than his total height!

So, it's getting to crunch time with social services.

Skippy the bush kangaroo is a great hit with Tucker junior.

Dave is desperate for things to get back to a normal family life but Donna looks as if she's having none of it.

Meanwhile, Paddy and Nancy look as if they've missed each other!

Nancy and Paddy are cosy chez Nancy, but there is a slightly troubled expression on her face.

So, how is Rory after Australia...Jeremy is trying to put a positive spin on things but you can tell Rory is a bit depressed.

So, Rory wanted to marry another 'Sheila' - poor man.

Rory unburdens himself to Jeremy about Tara.

Poor Dave is trying so hard to be nice but it's just a waste of time. He doesn't have a very happy story in all this, but I suppose it is true to life.

Meanwhile, Nancy is wishing upon the moon, by the looks of things.

Watch out for the corks, Maculey, they'll get in your cornflakes!

I love Macaulay's Australian bush hat.

Some male bonding time for Dave and Macaulay as Donna is off out with Marsha.

Who's there? The phone rings but there's nobody at the other end.

Nancy and Paddy are worried that their relationship won't work because the army will get in the way.

Someone is watching the Tucker's house and has seen Dave go off with Macauley, leaving Donna home alone.

Donna is being spied on.

Paddy wants to chat to Rory...what is thinking?

It's so sweet the way Macaulay copies his Dad's movements. A really lovely father and son moment.

Paddy announces he wants to buy himself out of the army. Rory doesn't look impressed.

Paddy's thinking of buying himself out of the army. Rory is shocked, but Paddy wants to be free to follow Nancy around. He feels he should leave the army and give her a chance. Gosh, he has changed his mind over the past two years.

I wonder how Kate and Kieran are managing now?

You want to send Paddy to Oman???

So, Paddy and Nancy meet up at the pub.

Nancy is shocked that Paddy wants to leave the army.

Rory's solution to the situation is to show Paddy a new posting out in Oman. Sounds promising. He goes to meet Nancy and tells her he wants to leave the army. What a change - Nancy looks shocked.

We're back at the zoo.

Donna opens the door to James Nesbitt...er…someone else from Northern Ireland.

I hear a warning bell clanging...Dave's supposed mate seems a bit creepy and intense. Methinks they weren't really friends.

Donna lets in the supposed corporal from Northern Ireland. I suppose he sounds genuine but if you were on your way to an art exhibition, would you let a stranger into your house? Would you not tell him to come back later?

He looks very dodgy!
