I’ve binge watched for 2 days as I’m ill. I never tire of it. I have one niggle: about Pete and Dawn’s children. Why do they look so young in the vow renewal scene? If they were that young, they’d have been round at Pam and Mick’s all the time too.

Was a bit weird yesterday seeing Pam Ferris in G and S followed by Matilda.

My favourite characters are Ness and Bryn. I like Ness the way I liked Father Jack. Every single thing they say is funny and you just want to hear more.

I've just watched the first series recently off the back of this thread (I'm up to series 3 now) and missed that reference to the work connection - definitely need to go back and watch again!!

Also agree with a PP that it's obvious how compatible Nessa and Smithy are. My favourite example is the takeaway. Did you know by the way that Nessa's duck dish (Jandani(?) Hash(?)) doesn't exist but a Cardiff Indian restaurant has created it?!

I love when Nessa speaks fluent Italian in Capriccios to order her food and then closes the menu and says "Tidy!"

I love how Nessa can say anything and no-one questions it. They just accept it, it’s Nessa.

I had a tear in my eye when I watched it again today (because of this thread ) when Stacey gets married and her uncle reads the note from her dad. It’s so sweet and well written.

Love this series so much. Absolute comedy gold. My two are 12 and 14 and they have also enjoyed all the episodes. Some things do go over their heads but we all have such a laugh watching it. I love Pam and mick. Wish they were my in laws. This thread has reminded me to put it back on for a laugh while the weathers miserable.

Love Nessa and her 20 nicotine patches to get through the roadtrip to Essex after Bryn said no smoking in the car I also LOVE how they all pile onto Dave’s coach for their road trips

I binge watched the whole lot after reading this post. I thought I'd seen a lot of it already but turns out I really hadn't, apart from the Christmas episode and a couple of others it was all new to me. Bloody brilliant!
