A new adventure awaits us in the New World. It's going to be savage!

Oooh Florabella why do you not think it will make it to season 6? I've only read up to book 3...

Lessstressedhemum · 14/01/2019 10:52

Fiery Cross is my favourite one of the books but it's hard to see how it can be covered in 12 episodes which is what I think the next two seasons have.

I liked the new episode but I wish we could see more of Jamie and Claire. It's becoming the Brianna show.

Some nice bits of Jamie and Claire today, but not so much this season Sad. I wonder will they do one season per book, or start to bring bits forward, like the Regulators.

So, Stephen Bonnet will be back in jail, but will both he and Murtagh be broken out? Wasn't it Forbes that had a thing for Claire in the later books?

WardrobeInCrisis · 14/01/2019 13:29

Lizzie continues to put her foot in it 😆

Lessstressedhemum · 14/01/2019 13:38

I think it was Tom Christie and Philip Wylie who had the hots for Claire. Wylie definitely in the Fiery Cross because that all kicks off at Jocasta's wedding.

I was browsing on DianaGabaldon.com (as you do) and there are some new and I think quite touching extracts from "Bees" if anyone is interested. Still no word on when Bees will be published.

Let’s hope they miss out the weird bit where someone’s feeling Claire up in bed in the dark and we never find out If it’s Jamie or Phillip and everyone just never mentions it again 😂

I'll try that first link again

Diana has said that of course it was Jamie touching up her feet gamerwidow, although I don't think that was obvious at all!

dischargepaperwork · 14/01/2019 16:06

Monday. I don't remember ever feeling quite so positive about Mondays. I have to wait for prime and sometimes I even save it for the weekend...occasionally I'm hard core and wait until I have 2 to watch.

That hair though.

I'm confusing Forbes and Philip Wylie. Last Season, I reread Voyager before I watched it, but it's now a while since I've read DoA.

Urgh I hate that bit! It is defo NOT Jamie either imo, he's off getting stinking drunk.

discharge Jamie/ SH was gorgeous in that scene.

Jamie/Claire in the tent was the best bit. More please!

Holidayshopping · 14/01/2019 19:16

I totally agree!

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 14/01/2019 20:52

How big was that tent!

The fashion of the time was very good at concealing pregnancy bumps.
So just WHEN did Aunt Jocasta think they would tell Briannas many possible fiances that she was already up the duff?

WhoGivesADamnForAFlakeyBandit · 14/01/2019 21:45

Aw no one mentioned Granny Lust!

So they swapped LJG's slave lover for one of Brianna's suitors. I can see see why. What I can't see were is what they are doing with Murtag, and Fergus. Fergus is coming across as a useless wimp whereas in the books he's much more useful to Jamie.

However I am warming to Sophie Skelton.

CoraPirbright · 15/01/2019 10:08

Just not enough Jamie for my liking.

Whisky2014 · 15/01/2019 10:11

Yep, need more jamie!

PollyFlinderz · 15/01/2019 14:07

No, there are 13 episodes this season, so three to go.

Thank you.

Whisky2014 · 15/01/2019 14:09

Was last night's not no11?

PollyFlinderz · 15/01/2019 14:11

Does Roger die pretty soon?

Was it his skeleton found in the woods? The one Claire identified as being a time traveler because of his dental work. A precious stone was found on the remains and Roger took a precious stone in payment from the ships captain instead of money?

Whisky2014 · 15/01/2019 14:12

No way!

quirkychick · 15/01/2019 14:22

No, the time traveller was a Native American/Indian/First Nation who went back to stop them being all but destroyed by the settlers (unsuccessfully). They use the gemstones to help travel through the stones, the first episode showed the new stone circle at the beginning.

legolimb · 15/01/2019 16:55

I thought Roger would have travelled back to 1960s.

I wondered why he didn't?

Whisky2014 · 15/01/2019 17:07

Because he wants to find his wife?
