For those who watched making a murderer part 2 is on Netflix now x

OP posts:
JAPAB · 14/11/2018 13:35

The video interview took place several months after the murder. A lot of details would have been reported by than. So yes he did mention the pond off his own back (about the only think I can remember him doing this with), but again, cam we be sure that that location didn't get into his mind from elsewhere.

This also wasn't the first interview so who knows what was suggested or fed or planted that we can't know about. We certainly know that in this video he confirms a lot of things that were fed/led.

As for the hood latch I am pretty sure they fed that to him to? I am sure I remember them doing their suggestion thing asking if Stephen did something round the back of the car until Brendan confirmed that he did.

In terms of someone being behind bars, I think I would rather believe in coincidences such as how a bonfire was lit on Halloween because it was Halloween, and that or that they commonly lit fires to burn trash and this might have been one such time, than an extremely far-fetched (IMO) story for which most of the main evidence magically appeared in places that had already been searched.

InfiniteSheldon · 14/11/2018 17:02

If it's coincidence and they had a Halloween bonfire (just the two of them!) Why are TH bones fused in with tyre remains in that fire?

JAPAB · 14/11/2018 17:28

Someone put them there? After the initial search of the barrels I mean. Is there anything to say that whoever burned the remains, wherever they were burned, a tyre couldn't have been involved?

Or maybe once they were searched and cleared someone burned a tyre in there legitimately and it was in there when the bones were planted?

I don't know ultimately, I can only speculate.

InfiniteSheldon · 14/11/2018 18:22

6 tyres! and its possible that between TH last being seen (with SA) at lunchtime she left the Avery property was killed her bones returned to the property burnt in the bonfire the ones that didn't burn well enough were removed and burnt again with her electronics in the bin on SA property whilst BD and SA tended the fire (not a bonfire they burnt at least 6 tyres) and didn't notice them being snuck in. Possible but really not probable or believable

InfiniteSheldon · 14/11/2018 18:32

The forensics proves absolutely that the body was burnt that night on that fire btw. MAM the series fudges it repeatedly with dropping between the barrel burning and the main big fire. I suppose it is possible that the bones burnt with her electronics could have been placed there but they weren't integral to the court case the fire pit ones were the crucial ones and they are indisputable so KZ fudges and talks about the barrel bones whilst making it sound like she's talking about the burn pit.

JAPAB · 14/11/2018 18:34

It wouldn't have to be done on the same night they were there. The window of time is between the first search and the search that discovered the bones and items.

Or if you want to allow for the possibility that they were just missed in the initial search, then the window is the day of her disappearance until the day of discovery.

Do we know that either SA or BD wewere welded to the barrel for the whole window?

InfiniteSheldon · 14/11/2018 18:36

Another interesting point if KZ believes in her faked time lines, pseudo science brain scans and burnout/barrel why when it's all thrown out doesn't she defend ANY of it? Could it be that the facts are irrelevant she just wants to be on telly, to promote herself and ride the SA bandwagon? For all her trumpeting about facts she uncovers none! And not even one single credible Denny (sp?) Suspect

InfiniteSheldon · 14/11/2018 18:56

The bones were found early on I thought? And the depth of ash, fire remains etc prove they were burnt there not elsewhere ?

HurricaneHalle · 14/11/2018 19:24

What about the bullet that didn't have any bone or blood on it? If did have wood fibres and also cotton hairs which she claimed came from TH Lip balm and was planted by the police?

InfiniteSheldon · 15/11/2018 06:01

The bullet was TV nonsense it did have DNA on it and the police never said any of the other stuff

chocahoop · 15/11/2018 06:48

The fact is, if Steven Avery did it then it's the police who added any element of doubt. That bit with colburn and the number plate? He was clearly lying. As he had before in Steven's previous false conviction re the rape where he just didn't bother to tell anyone when police from another county told him they'd found the actual rapist. And he's the one who found the conveniently placed key? The one that wasn't found during previous searches? The one that Steven kept despite burning everything else?

Shifty as fuck.

And that confession, if it turns out that BD did help with the murder then fine but that confession was so difficult to watch, stop giving him details and telling him no when you think he's telling you the wrong thing that doesn't fit your theory!

HurricaneHalle · 15/11/2018 08:33

I also thought that BD would think that he would be going home after his interview. He was totally led to believe that it would all be over once he told the truth eg go home.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 15/11/2018 21:08

Kathleen Zellner just gave an update on twitter. And her evidence wasn’t thrown out - it wasn’t considered . Which of course she already knew it wouldn’t be by the Sheboygan judge.

Charley50 · 15/11/2018 21:36

What other sexual offences did SA commit? The one I know of was him flashing (or wanking can't remember) at someone..
A pp said he has committed more, and planned a cage to put a kidnap victim in..that wasn't on either season of MoaM was it?

JAPAB · 15/11/2018 22:44

In the first episode it referred to allegations of masturbating at a woman in public, and also of having sex out on his lawn with his partner. He denies both.

It also mentions him breaking into a cabin, accidentally setting fire to a cat and IIRC threatening the woman who made the above allegation after driving her off the road.

He admits to the last three and says that he got mad at the woman because people were coming up to him and asking him why he would wank in public, how could he do something like that, when he never did.

Not sure if there are other incidents known or alleged ,mentioned in the series, but the above were.

chocahoop · 16/11/2018 06:11

There are also the angry violent letters to his ex wife, history of violence in all his relationships, and allegations of sexual abuse/attempted rape.

I doubt all of the people making these allegations are making it up.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 16/11/2018 06:17

Ken Kratz made a string of accusations. Ironic that he turned out to be a sexual predator himself.

chocahoop · 16/11/2018 06:48

Ken Kratz is awful but those women did make those allegations against SA.

InfiniteSheldon · 16/11/2018 07:00

Google SA history he wasn't wedding about with a cat!

Charley50 · 16/11/2018 08:08

He wasn't a nice, cuddle guy, no, but that doesn't make him a murderer. While he has been incarcerated, a violent rapist, and probably another murderer, have been free to commit more violence against women - just so Manitowoc can get revenge/ get off paying compensation. That's what I find particularly sick, especially when Kratz and his cronies constantly suck up in public to the Halbach family. Seems so fake.
And yeah Kratz! His voice! His behaviour! Bloody Hell!

InfiniteSheldon · 16/11/2018 08:17

The forensic evidence makes him a murderer BD confession confirms it but isn't essential SA would have been convicted without it. SA history of violence and abuse. (far too horrific for me to repost here) just shows his character.

NotPennysBoat · 16/11/2018 09:08

@InfiniteSheldon are you Ken Kratz??

Charley50 · 16/11/2018 09:25

@NotPennysBoat - Grin

RollerJed · 16/11/2018 09:32

Did I watch the same show as you Sheldon as I think there is sufficient reasonable doubt from KZ evidence Confused

InfiniteSheldon · 16/11/2018 11:43

Nasty response Penny we are just discussing the evidence
