Just off to read the article! I quite like reading James Jordan's weekly opinion
He actually knows what he's talking about and is very fair. The judges do talk a lot of nonsense. Not to say I love JJ but I appreciate his expertise.

I wonder if Eel from Blue could be first boot? Or Btech Idris? It's really difficult to guess! I can't choose a forgettable pairing this year. Maybe Katie Piper's nerves will get the better of her resulting in a dire "party Latin"?! I feel the public would still vote for her though

Surprised Brendan is predicting Eel and Nadiya to go far! I didn't really take to Nadiya's routines last year yet Brendan says she's the best dancer and teacher. He also seems to hint at a showmance but I thought she was newly married/engaged!

Dr Ranj, Eel Ryan and Btech Idris are all off my radar as I'm not fond of their dance partners/choreography Hopefully they'll win me over anyway! Dr Ranj (who I'm not familiar with) seems very popular, I imagine he'll make it to Blackpool even if he's not the best dancer.

Ditto Stacey and Kevin. I really like Stacey but combined with Kevin...argh!

I reckon Brenda has a fancy for Nadya she is very beautiful and i read he swooped in and saved her from catty comments from other dancers she really is all about Nadya though it is all LOOK AT ME!

I bet they don't show the proper vintage Strictly series, they rarely do except for the same recycled snippets

I don't understand why they don't put old series on iplayer but I hear it's something to do with copyright (music??)? I only started watching with series 6 and I loved watching the early pros!

My TV guide lists Widdy, Abbey Clancey, Caroline Flack, Jeremy Vine and Ramps as guests plus Claudia and Tess narrating. It's on for 1hr15 so I hope they revisit some early stuff!

Every year I love strictly and wish I had watched it from the beginning. I found it by accident. I don't understand why the beeb haven't put all the series as they are in dvds. They would sell.

I love AJ but he has a tendency to showboat in his choreography
I'm a bit worried he'll overcomplicate things for Lauren. Claudia was excellent but struggled at times due to his crazy pace which made for messy routines.

I predict the Curse of Strictly will fall on Pasha! His partner looks gorgeous. (So is he, of course).
