Yes! Also liking it thus far, also a LoD fan.

I'm even a fan of Keely Hawes now, after Lindsay Denton -I thought she was so prissy before.

LightastheBreeze · 26/08/2018 21:17

Yes, it’s looking good

Muddlingalongalone · 26/08/2018 21:19

Very promising so far.
Is it Sunday & Monday every week?

CoolCarrie · 26/08/2018 21:23

Looking good, but got a feeling it’s not going to go well for Nadia...

Violetroselily · 26/08/2018 21:23

RT says Sunday, Monday and then just Sundays thereafter

I didn’t realise it was Monday as well, even better

Elderflower14 · 26/08/2018 21:24

My heart was on my mouth just now. Don't think I will ever look at train toilets in quite the same way now!! Shock

covetingthepreciousthings · 26/08/2018 21:27

Not watched LoD.. but this is very promising so far.
LoD is on my list to watch though. It's on Netflix now isn't it?

Violetroselily · 26/08/2018 21:28

Yes series 1 to 3 are on netflix. It's brilliant and only 6 episodes per series, so very easy to binge.

They'd better not end up shagging

Figgygal · 26/08/2018 21:35

LOVED line of duty too

Only complaint with this so far is why was he inches from her as the bomb team were cutting off her vest he could have backed off from her and let the well protected bomb squad do their stuff

Violetroselily · 26/08/2018 21:46

Ah I love Nicholas Gleaves

Makes me want to watch Scott and Bailey

Enjoying this too!

The best thing about getting into September time is the new telly dramas.

Magnussen · 26/08/2018 21:50

It's all very angsty....

mrwalkensir · 26/08/2018 21:50

Ooh Paul Ready from Cuffs

LizzieSiddal · 26/08/2018 21:53

I think he’s a bad un.

nocoolnamesleft · 26/08/2018 22:00

His comeback to that horrible patronising sleazy chief whip. Then the chief whip ringing someone to get his version on record. That felt rather realistic.

PolaDeVeboise · 26/08/2018 22:01

He is rather dishy though

Mrsmadevans · 26/08/2018 22:02

I thought this was brilliant. I liked Budd very much and hope he doesn't go mad and kill the home sec. I am prob wrong but it was spellbinding loved it .

NicoAndTheNiners · 26/08/2018 22:03

I’m enjoying it.

Was slightly confused at the end....is he planning on killing her because she sent him and his mate out to Afghanistan? Is that why he had that gun?

BagelGoesWalking · 26/08/2018 22:04

Pretty good 2st episode. Scenes in the train were really tense, certainly felt myself relax after that part was all over.
I've always thought Richard Madden was a bit wooden but be was ok, even though his role is very closed, contained and angry.

LOVE Keely Hawes in anything. Glad to see Killing Eve (Sandra Oh) in trailers after - it's meant to be amazing!

covetingthepreciousthings · 26/08/2018 22:06

Did anyone else think there may be domestic abuse going to come out between him & his wife?

DolorestheNewt · 26/08/2018 22:07

Started watching but wasn't enjoying so might give it another shot on iPlayer.
I don't really enjoy watching Keeley Hawes, even as Lindsay Denton. But I like to think of her and Matthew Wossname as a happy BBC-world power couple.

llangennith · 26/08/2018 22:08

Don't overthink it! Loved it. Richard Madden's permanent on-edge demeanour was perfect for a PTSD sufferer just about holding it all together.

NewUserNameTime · 26/08/2018 22:14

I'm having LoD withdrawals so had high hopes for this! Really good so far, looking forward to episode 2
