@kirta IMDB is much quicker Wink

Jojoanna · 27/08/2018 21:58

Really ??

Windyone · 27/08/2018 22:00

So disappointing! Totally unbelievable.

kirta · 27/08/2018 22:00

@covetingthepreciousthings I was going to say that... but couldn't remember the order of the I, M, D and B Grin

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 27/08/2018 22:01

We are all gutted here that they ended up in bed. How predictable.

covetingthepreciousthings · 27/08/2018 22:02

As soon as they got together I just turned to my husband and said.. "there we go, now it's a true BBC drama" (with an eye roll)

TeachesOfPeaches · 27/08/2018 22:03

Watching this alone and when the shagging started I said 'oh god no, really?' and my eyes rolled back into my brain.

Fireworks91 · 27/08/2018 22:04

Argh, baby woke up just after his mate shot himself and didn't get back until they started predictably shagging, what did I miss?

Hels20 · 27/08/2018 22:04

Actually - I think you could be right, CoolCarrie. Whilst them getting it on is a bit “ugghhh”, I think he would make a good Bond.

colouringinpro · 27/08/2018 22:06

Well roll on next Sunday Grin

FreezerBird · 27/08/2018 22:07

The inevitable shagging happened earlier than I expected, I must say.

LightastheBreeze · 27/08/2018 22:07

He looks so different to when he was in GoT, I barely noticed him in that

SchadenfreudePersonified · 27/08/2018 22:16

My heart was in my mouth the whole time - it was brilliant!

I hope he murders her . . . Grin

Optimist1 · 27/08/2018 22:20

You'd imagine he (as a security bod) and she (as high ranking politician) would suspect that her temporary accommodation was being bugged, wouldn't you? I had visions of them opening the interconnecting door and DTD in total silence, but no!

Travelledtheworld · 27/08/2018 22:20

I thought it was great too.
But hadn't that next Home Secretary got any friends her staff could have brought in to "comfort" her following the shooting......

Travelledtheworld · 27/08/2018 22:21

Optimist yeah there would be CCTV everywhere.

EdWinchester · 27/08/2018 22:22

As soon as he had been assigned to her in ep 1, I said 'what's the betting they'll end up in bed?'.

Enjoyed it though; roll on next week!

TonTonMacoute · 27/08/2018 22:23

Complete and utter wank. Even the best actors in the cast look like robots, plot like a cross between Mils and Boon and Ultimate Force. Amazed that anyone is enjoying this rubbish.

OneOfTheGrundys · 27/08/2018 22:29

That was massively enjoyable.
He’s hot.
I like the sharp female work wardrobes. Makes me think I’m way too scruffy at work.
It’s like a posh burger. Enjoyable, gourmet stuff that’s a slightly guilty pleasure you don’t want to be over.
Some bits are super predictable (the sex, saw that coming with the shirt but in ep1) but lots to keep me on the edge of my seat. Well, figuratively, as the dog is sprawled on me and the sofa is old and crap.
Roll on Sunday!

OneOfTheGrundys · 27/08/2018 22:30

Hehe TonTon !
Not a x post I promise!!

KnotsInMay · 27/08/2018 22:35

So what did the Security Services guy mean when he said ‘corroborative evidence ‘ etc? Why is she cosying up to them and alienating the police?

And why didn’t he say that he knew who the sniper was and their agenda?

Did Scarface old friend shoot himself then, or did Slash Dave shoot him?

Surely someime will piece together that he was in Helmand with SlashDave?

Hassled · 27/08/2018 22:36

So next week - Gina McKee's lot work out Rooftop Sniper (last seen as one of Sherlock's street gang?) was Dave's mate. She wonders why Dave didn't say yes, when I saw him on the roof I recognised him as my mate from Helmand, and then she wonders whether Dave was actually in on it. But that's fine by her because she wants Lavender dead anyway.

I have to say I am loving this. Yes, the sex was way too predictable, but no TV show has made me quite as enjoyably tense as this for a long time.

Hassled · 27/08/2018 22:37

Grundys - I'm also enjoying the work wardrobes. That right there is what I aspire to.

KnotsInMay · 27/08/2018 22:38

And did Scarface deliberately not kill her? He had said she should have a taste of being under fire / a target. So maybe that’s all he wanted to do.

And the police would really delay the ARVs????

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 27/08/2018 22:42

Don't they keep fingerprints of serving Army on file?
I assume Scarface has messed up any chance of identifying him by dental records
