Apologies if a dedicated thread has already been started on this.

Watching now.

Can’t see most of it as it is shot at night / in poor light conditions.

Anyone else watching?

HANG ON..that Facebook thing suggests Maggie etc were plotting to kill RICK not negan. Surely surely not

Yes, which prompted Norman to post his tweet.

Phew. So Facebook guy was wrong and Maggie evil face was all about offing negan?

gamerchick · 22/04/2018 18:43

I guess we’ll find out in October Grin

MiddleClassProblem · 22/04/2018 19:47

I think the good saviour guys purpose in this series was for the viewer to question trusting them and ultimately be shown that the ones that are worker bees are not bad people but trapped in the Negan system. But it does allow him to go either way in the future.

It’s silly with Judith as she could easily be swapped for another child actor and viewers wouldn’t give a damn. Plus it still pusses me off how they kept her alive that first year on the move too. You never saw anyone faffing with formula, no worries about sterilising, sids doesn’t exist and just shove her under a blanket of a zombie is nearby.

I’ve just caught up on the finale. What a load of crap. I thought the season overall was terrible. Characters behaving out of step with who they are. Confusing incoherent plot. The whole thing just staggered to the end. Stupid that they would keep Negan alive. That’s not going to go well is it. I’m team Maggie.
What happened to Lucille? Last seen lying on the grass under the tree?

MiddleClassProblem · 24/04/2018 00:39

That’s a point. That flash forward of Rick under the tree makes no sense now as when would it have happened? I doubt after he said to everyone to get home he then sat alone dazed and injured under a tree before heading back. Not would half of them there have let him.

StealthPolarBear · 24/04/2018 06:30

The sort of misty flash forwards with negan chatting to Judith were Carl's imaginings. Rick under the tree after all the fighting stopped was real I thought. The only one who would have gone to him at that point was michonne and she was busy with Maggie. I did wonder where the troops were when rick and negan were fighting, why was Rick on his own? (because it made a better finale... I know)

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 24/04/2018 20:02

Negan didn’t die in the comics though? Wasn’t he kept alive in a prison or something?

MiddleClassProblem · 25/04/2018 09:03

The same thing happened with the throat slit and keeping him alive for his cell.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 25/04/2018 23:50

So it’s just playing true to the comics then.

Let’s hope the comics get better.

Yeah killing him off threw me a bit Grin

yumyumpoppycat · 26/04/2018 10:49

maybe they want to line someone new bit more charismatic up to be one of the main characters, wont have the same impact without father son aspect though.

ilovemykittyy · 26/04/2018 18:36

I really want to be apart of this thread but I'm so behind on walking dead! I'm on season 6 (I know, I know) and I know I'll spoil it for myself ! I know Carl's dead that's a given....

gamerchick · 26/04/2018 19:48

Binge watch it Grin

I always feel envious of people watching it for the first time!
