Apologies if a dedicated thread has already been started on this.

Watching now.

Can’t see most of it as it is shot at night / in poor light conditions.

Anyone else watching?

Not really excited about TWD returning but will watch as I always do.

I think all the talk of killing Rick off is ridiculous. The day they do that is the day TWD dies. Same with Darryl.

FTWD I am super excited for! I would happily be stuck in an apocalypse with Frank Dillane!

MiddleClassProblem · 26/02/2018 16:19

FTWD season 4 is 23rd April on AMC global but we might have to wait until it comes to amazon as we don’t have BT

MiddleClassProblem · 26/02/2018 16:21

dejectedharry agreed. I think it’s an extremely arrogant thing to say and very defensive. I think it just adds to the Gimple frustration.

Aridane · 26/02/2018 16:34

I think what I find particularly tedious is endless gun battles with endless amunition where nothing much realy happens. Oh and Negan poncing around. But, you know, I've started so I'll finish - I sort of carry on watching out of residual loyalty and to moan on here

What time is it in tonight, 9pm?

dejectedharry · 26/02/2018 16:45

I'm the same Aridane I can't stand Negan, and he is ruining everything for me, but my love for the original cast is what keeps me watching.

Yes, its on at 9 tonight MrsJoshDun

I’m not watching today’s episode. I can’t bear to watch an emotional death episode. Im imagining that it’ll be drawn out. Let me know if it’s safe to watch then I might do Smile

I actually like Negan. They could’ve done a bit more with him. I agree about the pointless gun battles. They’re so dull.

StormyLovesOdd · 26/02/2018 21:46

OMG this is so sad I'm struggling to watch

dejectedharry · 26/02/2018 22:15

LiveLifeWithPassion to be fair I quite like the character Negan, I just hate the drawn out storyline with the sanctuary.

Be good to have some new bad guys, not weird trash people, or Negan and his endless supplies! Just some decent awful people.

I think the problem is they're diluting the cast so much now into too many different locations which might work in the comic book but it ruins the dynamic of the original group, and has flooded it with pointless characters to make up the numbers.

Jesus, I possibly need to get a life Grin

Ontheboardwalk · 26/02/2018 22:26

That was the longest 44 minutes of my life.

I'm still watching it. Is it ever going to end?

I don't believe it's 44 minutes. Do you mean 444?

Ontheboardwalk · 26/02/2018 23:04

stripy I’m sure. I kept checking and after what felt like hours it only moved a minute

Off topic but I’ve just watched fear the walking dead and really enjoyed it

StripySocksAndDocs · 26/02/2018 23:12

Ok it's finished!!

Last dream sequence/flash forward got my interest. But I'd have preferred a quicker death scene. Plus I want a lot less gun fights.

I LOATHE Neegan. But not so much that I don't think he should be in it. I am getting a bit numb about the repeatativeness of everything.

Anyway. Morgan has done a real 180 on his previous beliefs hasn't he!!!!

EachandEveryone · 27/02/2018 00:03

Well, fast forwarded half of that. No emotion felt at all.

TheDrsDocMartens · 27/02/2018 03:40

No emotion here. I didn’t really care about Carol and don’t like Rick. Michonne gone boring since shagging Rick too. More interested in Morgan and Carols story.

LiveLifeWithPassion · 27/02/2018 07:45

Carl’s death got to me, not because of his character but more because that was the point of surviving - to create a world for humanity. If the children die, it all seems futile.

I agree that michonne is dull now. I still like Rick, Daryl, Carol and Morgan.

Steeley113 · 27/02/2018 07:55

I’m a bit disappointed, I watched the chat show after the mid season finale and they said Carl would go out with a bang but it was more of a slow fizzle. I did get emotional at the Judith goodbye though. Carol and Morgan kicking ass was good too. I’ll continue to watch until they kill off Daryl I think, even if it’s no way near as good as before.

hopethisworks · 27/02/2018 08:26

Agree it was long and a bit too drawn out however I've come to really like Coral and I think it was good he had this episode about him IYSWM? It was sad to watch him doing all the nice things like hand prints with Judith and then switching to seeing him getting more and more ill. The "dream" sequence makes sense now although what is going on with Rick sitting under a tree with stained glass windows hanging either side? The environment looks different too, more green.
I thought the bit when Negan said morning to Judith in dream bit was beyond creepy!

DispatchReady · 27/02/2018 09:16

Just watched - yes bit drawn out and repetitive but quite enjoyed it, Chandler acted well. They did a tribute thing to him on Talking Dead and forgotten how cute he was as a child.

Not sure if Rick was just outside the church/cottage place but not sure why he had blood all over his arm?

Agree the Negan scene was really creepy!

WTF Morgan tearing that guy's guts out?!

KNain · 27/02/2018 12:15

Oh My God Coral - die already!!

I agree with all the previous posters - it's too repetitive now; I felt like every line last night was taken from a previous episode. It's like they have to have a 'there has to be something more/we need to fight for something' community season, followed by a 'humans are the real enemy' conflict season, repeat ad infinitum.

I can't get on board with Negan; I know he's an important character in the books but I'm not sure it translates on TV - he comes across as a 2D comic book villain swanning around twiddling his moustache and waving his big stick. While (most of) the other main characters are well-rounded. The Governor was a much better villain.

MiddleClassProblem · 27/02/2018 15:12

I liked it more than I though I would but felt Carl’s important words kept going on and then he’d get another go.

I liked Morgan’s big kill. I thought it was amusing Negan and Rick had the same hair like BFFs.

Mixed feelings about the ending. Whilst I’m glad they are doing the hand but annoyed that they keep doing these flash forward teases rather than feeling the surprise of it happen in the moment you now know you are going to spend x episodes just waiting for that to happen which takes your focus off everything else.

Also being a few years on you’d think there would be more militia kids. I know Henry was sheltered a bit but not like Alexandria sheltered. I think there would be some bad ass 10 year olds out there who had grown up in this world. Kids can be much quicker to adapt, faster and less conscious. There needs to be some creepy ninja kid army.
