I agree with the poster who said Jude and Ange were dreary and miserable. When they were in the Rovers the other night when Sean got huffy puffy then sacked-who was babysitting little George? Have they forgiven Mary?

I don't understand about Sean getting the warning from the doctor because he was discussing patients in the cafe. He wasn't, he was complaining about his room mates and a discussion they had over breakfast. And who dobbed him in anyway? There didn't appear to be anyone else in the cafe, I watched it twice. And the fight with Peter was so contrived, it would have been much simpler if Sean had just flounced off to visit Violet and his son for a few weeks.

Sean must be loaded so no worries there! Not sure what other job on the street work he would get mind.

Agree about Jude and Ange once we are over shock she had a son story and the illness, wonder how they will play it. They must need a job and to sort out a visa now? Yes yes to PND coming out then not a peep if on meds on counselling or anything.

Who was this other patient that was in the cafe (should have been a zoom in on them)and was Sean meant to have been discussing that person or did this patient overhear him talking about George and Angie to Eileen? How would this patient have known that George and Angie were patients at the surgery when Sean was complaining in the context of them being his housemates?

The fight with Peter was pathetic - it didn't look like Chris Gascoigne was convinced by the lines he was saying - seemed half hearted.

@Grunkalunka I think the development that Phelan (and Vinnie) were scamming is a different place to The Mill where he shot/dumped Andy.

Yes they are definitely different places, the place Andy & Vinny were kept in was a big house, the mill development is where they were shot after Phelan drove them there.

Sorry to be pedantic but how did that police officer know Alya’s surname was Nazir when he was totally unaware of her existence 2 minutes earlier? Kev and Tyrone referred to her just as Alya. 🙄

I’m going to really miss Luke. He was very underused, but he’s easy on the eyes, and as an actor has good timing and comes across as an intelligent person/character. I mean, we can’t all be Kirkie!

Dean Fagan had a small part on an episode of Scott and Bailey and he was very good in that. He was also in the dramatization of Boy George and Culture Club, but I haven’t caught that yet.

Jumping into the thread to ask... how does Seb know Phelan killed Luke (or at least seems to be assuming so)? I get that he has seen the gun, but why would he be linking the two? I didn’t think anyone else had witnessed any of the stuff between Luke and Phelan re Andy?

The make-up artists/writers seem to be forgetting that Luke landed Phelan a good one in the face the day before... where's the bruise? No black eye? I was expecting him to roll in with a black eye and for Eileen to go "Did you trip again? Lasagne for tea!"
