With half term, I haven't managed to fit in a re-watch. It was hard enough just watching it the once.
Every time I try again I get interrupted. Random visits from PIL, DS friend over to play Xbox.
So I might just skip the 2nd watch and go straight for the main event tomorrow.
I can't wait.

This. They both seem pleasant, nice people and that's all I'm bothered about. I do not give a stuff about their love lives or their careers to date.

On that note, I feel sorry for CB too. She seems so articulate and clever yet every interview (which I have seen) asks her about Victoria's Secret

I think they probably emptied their sm accounts to protect their friends and family as much as anything else. It’s one thing to accept that you become public property when you become famous it’s another to expose your loved ones to public scrutiny.

After a very busy weekend, I am now just settling down to watch episode 7. Cup of tea and some shortbread. I'm ready.

Just managed a rewatching of Episode 6, definitely worth rewatching as I think the first time I just kept noticing what was different from/the same as the book, but this time I could just follow the storyline. Also ready for Episode 7... not I'll tomorrow here, though

Yes, Angelo, I am in Florida. It airs Sunday nights in the US but Starz subscribers have it available on demand from midnight Saturday. So I watched it this afternoon and will watch again with DH in about an hour. No spoilers but I think you all will like it. For one thing, more Fergus.

I had a massive binge rewatch this evening (with a bit of fast forwarding thru unimportant eg Brianna bits), mildly musing on on much better the dialogue could have been if only written by The Mighty Boosh Team...

She was a total pain this ep. As if you would try and save the life of your potential murderer/rapist. I nearly rolled my eyes right out of my head 🙄

Not only that but you’re back in the 18th Century now, love. Tansy oil and yarrow root for a subdural haematoma just ain’t gonna cut it (even though I willing her to ask for some bitter cascara ).

Also, did she really pull the ‘you wouldn’t understand, you aren’t a parent’ card on Jamie? Not cool, Claire, not cool.

Aside from that, I really enjoyed this episode. Glad to see the dynamic between C & J hasn’t changed too much i.e someone (Claire) still not listening the voice of reason (Jamie).

Ok now they are so far away from the book I'm getting confused. I am however looking forward to next week

Jamie calling Fergus mon fils, roughly translates as my son love this

Oh, Fergus! So lovely, I noticed the "mon fils" too . I like that we're getting some of Jamie's pov, Ned Gowan references etc. it puts him in a more favourable light, trying to sort out the situation rather than appearing to hope it will all go away.

I like that too quirky Claire is going to go postal next week I think. A lot of people slating the episode on social media but I quite liked it. Jamie really looked sad at the end. No bums though, mores the pity!
