I noticed that. I couldn't be doing with Frank anyway. He was a prat. In the books Claire doesn't let him shag other woman, he just does because he is punishing her for not loving him enough. She definitely stags him in the books. How could she? Yeuk!

I dont know how she can even look at him never mind shag him.

Tobias is an amazing actor though!

I noticed the loud breathing that Tobias did as Frank. He's bloody brilliant at playing two characters and making me forget he's the same actor. So many tiny little mannerisms for each character that made them seem like completely different people. God knows how you would do that.

Something else I'm noticing.........it's always Jamie telling Claire how amazing she is/looks, he's the one who vocalises his love for her more, she doesn't really does she? Or am I wrong?

She definitely tells him she loves him and she can't be without him in the books... like when they go to Frasers' Ridge and find the strawberries.

In the first person narrative she definitely mentions he's absolutely gorgeous but I don't think she vocalises that as much as he does towards her.

Im quite guilty of not telling my dh how lovely he is looking but he is very vocal even though I look like shit

While I'm feeling nit picky... isn't Claire wearing glasses to drive in season 2 at the end, yet is s3 she doesn't need them, but Jamie does. He def doesn't wear them in voyager, or it's not mentioned, yet he can't see a pic of Bree without them on. I bet he 'loses' them as we get used to older Jamie!

I love the "its always been forever for me" line. That has to be the most lovely flattering line ever. I think he does tell her a lot more how lovely she is, than her him she clearly needs those glasses if she's that blind

In Voyager DG specifically has Jamie tell Claire that he's got eyes like a hawk. They both get glasses much much later on, when they return to Edinburgh.

They talk about Jamie's great eyesight again in Fiery Cross when Roger's eyesight isn't up to scratch. DG must have been right pissy about the glasses

I'm sure in one of the later books Claire acknowledges that she doesn't often tell Jamie that she loves him, but he says he knows by her actions. I think the fact she's just travelled back 200yrs in the hope that he will still want to be with her might be a small indication .

Nothing on CB. Well, there was that pinnacle of her acting career, the film 'Escape Plan' I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to erase that from her past.

Just rewatching #printshop now before tomorrow! I really loved the Fergus part, Cesar Domboy is very good. Looking forward to seeing Ned Gowan again soon, I liked him.

On second viewing I find the whole awkwardness very real. The headbutt, nose kiss and then his hand getting caught in her hair were good additions, as is him feeding her (don't think it was in the script?).

Neither of them broke down (I've read a bit of the book now as wanted to see what happens next, though likelihood that the tv show could be different) Jamie didn't break down at the pictures and Claire didn't break down when he told her she was a good mother. I think I prefer this version.

Claire having breakfast with the staff was good, the conversation was really funny.

Another thing I love about the series is the music. Looking forward to tomorrow's episode even more now.

The script was an interesting read as it followed the books pretty closely, especially all the awkwardness. It looks as if it changed and some bits were cut by the time the script reached the screen.

Thanks quirky episode 8 looks good, and Claire looks pissed.

Will look at that when I come back from church. I've seen a lovely one of ep7 but nothing from ep8. I am so excited.
