Is anyone else watching classic Corrie on itv 3. I’m actually quite enjoying it

I’ve just started watching it now interesting to see the arrival of some characters such as the Mac Donald’s- how different was Liz and was funny to see them commenting on Deirdre before she knew her etc.
I knew that Jenny knew Sally/Kevin but didn’t realise they were so close.
Sort of depressing watching Gail as you know her life just gets worse and worse poor woman.

Just watched Tracey chatting to Andy Macdonald for the first time - am waiting for her first meeting with Steve.
The girl (Chloe) who kissed Derek is Tracey Brabin who later appeared as Tricia and had a very turbulent time on the Street. She's now an MP.

Tommy's mother was Lisa, Tricia's boy with Terry as father was Brad and I don't know whether he's made an appearance as she left not long after he was born.

When Rita was at the hospital in Blackpool did you notice that the nurse was played by the Dr Gaddas actress?

Yes I did! Martin really snogs Gail deeply as does Mike Baldwin with Alma (he didn't do that with Susan). Poor Jenny. Her clothes are really awful for a teen - very middle aged. Sally and Tina are much more on trend for the time.

See that wallpaper in the hallway of the Rovers Return? That was in my house when I bought it , I cracked on Christmas Eve and painted it over white !

Yes, those episodes were on Monday. There has been a disappointing lack of Steve this week, only 3 scenes

Some of the episodes are on YouTube. The McDonalds debut episode here - but the 8th December 1989/tram death isn't on there yet.
