Also wtf to doing a really upsetting episode on teenage pregnancy and then not even alluding to it in this week's episode.

Loved David's confusion about the appeal of porn and saying that he didn't even want to watch good looking actors shagging, let alone people he knew!

I do sometimes think Pete is just slightly too nice

So obvious Pete is going to have an affair with Jenny's ex colleague.

Too much Adan and Tina last night. I think she'd be ok as a minor character, in small doses. I'm hoping she goes off with the married sleazebag.

David is fab.

I like the teenagers. All good actors.

I thought David was going to try and get dodgy George to invest in Karen’s business.

david has wonderful comedy timing and is very expressive.

He is a brilliant actor. Everyone else gets obviously very funny lines, with David he makes the part.

Just caught up on Friday's episode...and have serious house-envy! Karen's looks like a fucking mansion. And Adam's picture window is amazing. No dust anywhere! And even Pete and Jenny's look spacious rather than Corrie-pokey.

Can't they just dub Leanne Best's voice over? How did she ever become and actress? Catalogue model perhaps, but surely not a speaking part? She must be aware of how she sounds.

I fee a bit bad now but it is more the whole package that annoys me! Not just the voice. She's a bit wishy washy. Just don't like her as a character.

There was a voice on last week's 15-minute drama that sounded just like hers. Weak, croaky, whiney, old-lady voice. Unbearable! I just couldn't listen to it.

But then Jane Horrocks is another voice I can't stand, and she's done ok for herself.

Do you think they has to do anything to those houses before they filmed? They are bloody amazing are they really that wealthy?

I missed the last half of the previous series, didn't realise it was going to keep going this year.

IMO it's fair enough to criticise actors' voices: speaking is part of their job after all.

I do like adams picture window though.

A "normal" semi that'd cost over £1m where I live in the London commuterbelt. Would imagine that Didsbury in Manchester is cheaper than that, but still hardly affordable for most!

It's not normal they have steps leadining up into it from the back garden. That is not a normal semi detached! And the decor is hardly Wilkos.

Lots of victorian semis have steps up from the back garden. It's a standard house for many areas!

On location location location few weeks ago iirc they did DIDSBURY and think it was expensive area of Manchester district

But could be completely wrong
