What are people's opinions on the new Bake Off so far? And yes, I know we're only a few minutes in. IMO the new presenters feel a bit like they're trying a little too hard to be Mel and Sue.

Noel just seems out of place it's like he's been sent on a job by an agency and really needs the work so he's trying his best

I think Noel will get in the swing of it, he's a very good off the cuff person. Feels a little nervous
And I've always liked Sandi, again good at off the cuff adlibbing

I'm getting used to it now, I like it when it gets into the show a bit, when some of the contestants go home.

Worried I'm not the only one on the Wine tonight then Grin though drinking it and watching this does not do good on the appetite, I want to scoff lots of cake!! luckily I have none.

I like the "new" Noel. I thought I was going to dislike him, so am sort of pleased. Not sure he's a good "pair" with Sandi in the way Mel and Sue were. Sandi is too intellectual for this role.

The presenters and scripts feel really awkward and clunky. Sandi and Noel lack the chemistry that Mel and Sue had, too.

I like it. I love Pru...although I was never a big fan of Mary.
I think Noel seems a bit nervous, but he's ok.

Hmmm not convinced the new team is working. I like Noel but he's clearly been told to tone down his usual surreal observations and I just seems quiet and shy.. Pru just doesn't have Mary's warmth which is needed when you have the rather abrasive personality of Mr Hollywood as her opposite number.

If it's going to work Noel needs to be his usual wacky self and develop some rapport with Sandi.
