What the fuck is the point in his amazing powers if all he does is sit under a tree being all Emo? Could he not have helped Jon somehow?

I saw this picture online a while ago, so had an inkling the night king would get a dragon. However, did the night king know there were dragons? Why else would he be prepared with huge dragon killing spears to throw with such incredible accuracy?

I'm at Jon surviving being dunked in the frozen lake, and he must be nearly as good a swimmer as Bron to get back to the surface in those soaking furs.

Either Gendry is a very fast runner, or they wandered about aimlessly zig-zagging to find the dead, and he then ran back in a shorter, straighter route? Another though, but he's pretty and has an impressive hammer, so I'll let him off.

Arya & Sansa, I'm not sure what's going on, are they really at each other's throats or are they double bluffing LF?

One of my friends said it was a bit slow to get going, but I loved the pacing. The dialogue between Tormund & Clegane was brilliant, and I'm really liking Beric, I hope he doesn't die in the next episode.

I'm just waiting for the Ozzyman review & Thronecast now.

Before that there was fan art of Tyrion riding a dragon. Guess that's not happening now...

The Night King knew there were dragons because D&D needed him to. Dany had to lose a dragon to an enemy. In the book I think it will definitely be Euron.

Jon surviving the frozen lake must be because he's ice, just as Dany survives flames because she's fire?

What the fuck has uncle Benjen been doing this whole time? Just lurking around waiting for Stark kids to show up so he can give a tiny bit of help then disappear again?

I've seen a theory that Bran is the Night King but unsure if it holds under proper scrutiny.

Arya, ahhh, I don't really read/look at the fan sites, I guess it was working from the leaks and not just speculation.

I have so many questions, I miss not having already read the books, I need GRRM to publish the last ones!!

Uncle Benjen has changed his name by deed poll to Deus of the House Ex Machina.

Is he dead though? Is he? We did not see him definitely dead.

Arya, Trills, is Benjen the same character as Cold Hands? He can't go south due to the Children saving him with dragon glass, or am I horribly confused because it's several years since I read the books?

I've seen speculation that not-dead-but-still-undead Uncle Benjen will ride the ice dragon... I hope not....

I confess I've fallen in love with Beric's voice....

I'll just throw in something DH said to the Sansa/Ayra mix: maybe it's not Arya, it's The Waif wearing Arya's face.

Btw that was just him speculating, as we've avoided any other the spoiler threads apart from this one, and then only after watching the episode.

I thought that was a bit shit, really.

Some dreadful writing in the last bit with Jon and Daneyrs. And I love Arya but she is getting right on my tits. I want them to give Brienne something to do but not shop her off to KL - although if Tormund is heading that way too, they could have a snog.

If someone doesn't do for Littlefinger next episode I might go and do for him myself. Sansa is back to being a pain in the arse and EmoBran totally absent.

Is the idea that we will all be heartbroken when Jon finds out he has been lusting after his auntie? Lots of mentions of her not being able to have children this episode

Beric is fucked now though, as the Hound pointed out.

I wanted Beric to wear his hat from Fortitude when going north of the Wall.

Agree with Olenna - he has the best voice in the show by far.

I wanted to see Benjen riding on a giant elk/moose thing but maybe they thought he'd look a bit too much like Thranduil.

I think Jon & Dany will go there, and it won't be a problem when their family relationship is revealed, in medieval times the ruling classes married cousins and other fairly close relatives (sometimes disastrously, prince Carlos of Spain anyone?) and Westeros is no different. Dany won't care, she was fine with marrying her brother so her nephew isn't a big deal, even though we are all about it.

Arya, it's bothering me enormously that NONE of them are wearing hats, and only Gendry has a bit of a hood.
