I thought we could do with a thread for those of us who have read all the spoilers for the full season.

Nothing is not allowed.

Shock No words.
BeyondQueenOfLists · 08/08/2017 13:01

But in true mn style I do have one question...

Paragraphs?

Grin

yeah sorry i copypastad it from freefolk

HaveToBeSure · 08/08/2017 15:25

Knowing so much, shall we start predicting what will happen in the final series?

I think Beric and Tormund are going to go deady.

AryaUnderfoot · 08/08/2017 16:53

I think Beric and Tormund are going to go deady.

I think Varys is going to be captured by the Golden Company and brought before Cersei who will have him murdered horribly (luckily he can't have his 'bits' chopped off again).

I think Melissandre is going to die.

I think Cleganebowl will happen which will make lots of 17 year-old boys very happy and me very sad.

Theon is going to rescue Yara but die heroically in the process.

Jaime is going to rescue Brienne but die heroically in the process.

D&D will prove beyond a doubt that they have no idea what the words 'redemption arc' mean.

Qyburn will die by some poison.

We will never find out what happened when Tyrion took the jackass and honeycomb into the brothel, but we will still live happy and productive lives despite having been denied that knowledge.

Pod will become Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.

BossyBitch · 08/08/2017 17:25

Dany will die, Jon will survive. I've already posted this somewhere upthread, but, yeah, I'm utterly convinced he's Azor Ahai and she's his Nissa Nissa.

Although, maybe Jon will die as well after managing to off the others with the magicky sword-that-was-promised. Technically, it doesn't actually say that Azor Ahai doesn't end up dead in the process of saving the world.

Fringe theory: as above but with reversed roles. So Dany offs Jon to forge Lightbringer. Point in favour: Thoros refers to Azor Ahai waking dragons from stone. I.e. hatching fossilised dragon eggs, surely? Point against: the sword would be pretty useless on Dany, she's never been shown as having the ability to fight with one.

Middleoftheroad · 08/08/2017 17:31

I want Gendry and Arya to rule but 'that's not her'.

Yup I think Tormund and Beric are dust and that Beric won't come back.

I'm not ruling out Ghost and Superpack playing a part.

BossyBitch · 08/08/2017 17:42

I want Gendry and Arya to rule but 'that's not her'.
I want Sam to rule. The geek shall inherit the earth and all that good stuff. It's never going to happen outside of my own head.

AryaUnderfoot · 08/08/2017 18:01

I think Tyrion will betray Dany. I think his betrayal of her will be the one 'for love'. I have no evidence for this, it's just a hunch.

AryaUnderfoot · 08/08/2017 20:25

My biggest predictions for S8 are:

  • It will be done and dusted and aired before we see Winds of Winter
  • The ending will be leaked on Reddit\freefolk at least four months prior to the series launch. Sadly, we will know the ending of a series that has been meticulously put together by GRRM since 1993 from an intern with a puerile username such as 'houndloveschicken'......... Urghh
MyOtherProfile · 08/08/2017 22:02

I think Cleganebowl will happen which will make lots of 17 year-old boys very happy and me very sad.
But who do you think would win?
Really hope the hound has more of a storyline than that though. Bit gutted he was the star of ep 1 and then disappeared.

AryaUnderfoot · 08/08/2017 22:16

But who do you think would win?

I think either way the Hound would lose.

The most likely D&D storyline is that he'd kill his brother but would die some heroic death saving Arya.

If he did beat his brother and survive then what's next? For a man who's entire life has been shaped by wanting to kill his brother, what purpose is left for him? He's not had the same level of forced CBT on the Quiet Isle that book-Sandor has had, so it's hard to imagine that he's going to be quite the changed-ish man that he is.

The Hound would be my 'specialist subject' in the whole book series. He is the most fascinating and complex character, largely (for me), because figuring him out is so difficult. For someone who claims to hate liars he does an awful lot of bullshitting.

MyOtherProfile · 08/08/2017 23:36

Right with you AryaUnderfoot. Not sure what he would do if he bumped his brother off. And yes he's a really interesting character... the most 3D of all of them I feel. And I do have a soft spot for Rory M even if sometimes I think he was a dumb choice for book hound.

MyOtherProfile · 09/08/2017 05:58

This made me smile. Wonder how close to the truth it is Grin (Sorry - Haven't posted a link in so long I can't remember how to do it properly!

Me too. Sadly, I also think he has a far better understanding of the character, from what I've seen in his interviews, than the show writers.

MyOtherProfile · 09/08/2017 07:12

Yes he does!

FanwankTheAbsurd · 09/08/2017 08:39

I think the hound should survive, then decide westeros is full of cunts and come live with me instead.

I think either dany or Jon will die, and beric will nobly sacrifice himself for whichever one survives.

I'd like to see Jamie and tyrion reunited. Tyrion as hand of whoever rules. Jamie will kill cersei.

Sansa as queen in the north, possibly advised by Davos. I'd like to see brienne settled too, but can't see it. I don't think tormund will survive sadly.

I'd love to see Arya and Gendry together, even just as friends. Maybe they could share the iron throne.

Theon better save Yara, dying nobly I hope.

There's a queue I'm afraid Fanwank and I'm right at the front waving my "I

AryaUnderfoot · 09/08/2017 13:33

Fanwank and MyOtherProfile you can fight between yourselves over Sandor McClegane. I'll take book-Hound - 28 and 'muscled like a bull' will do nicely thank you!

Looks like Westeros isn't the only place that's full of c*nts.

Post reported by the way.

MyOtherProfile · 09/08/2017 14:05

You can keep book hound as sadly I'm old enough to be his mum sob

What did I miss on the reported posts?

AryaUnderfoot · 09/08/2017 14:18

Nothing exciting - just spam!

It did break up a very important conversation about the Hound though.

FanwankTheAbsurd · 09/08/2017 15:56

I'm also old enough to be book hounds mum 😳

I'm willing to renounce my claim upon show Hound if somehow they manage to bring back Sean Bean 🤤

Did anything ever come of the rumour of a leaked ep5?

Did anything ever come of the rumour of a leaked ep5?

I think the only leaks for episode 5 are currently the plot and script leaks which are already available on freefolk. The leaked plot is

www.reddit.com/r/freefolk/comments/6pillk/frikidoctors_season_7_episode_5_review_full/

I don't think there's anything 'new' in here.
