An old thread but I just finished watching this show yesterday on my Now app! It was brilliant and I suspected Celestes hubby as Jane’s rapist when she was telling Madeline the story of what happened to her, it was the shoes on the beach that gave it away and then the fact you never got to see Parry’s shoes, and the fact hez twisted & loves having sex after he batters his wife.
The thing I didn’t like was the fact that a child in 1st grade, Chloe, had such an excellent, and different, taste in music, she was almost too cool iyswim?! and she was 6, 7 going on 30 yet in other ways she was very childish, I just didn’t buy it.
I didn’t like Madeleines hubby at all, and my god every actress in it was painfully thin & especially Zoe Kravitz, I actually couldn’t eat watching her dance as her thin body made me feel sick, why do Hollywood actresses have to be so thin?!
Apparently there will be a second season next year & I personally can’t wait for it!
