so much to question, but the death the sexy policeman by driller killer had us all last week, assume has to be dead 'clutches straws'

I will not allow Baptiste to die.

I think real Alice/Lena is in the basement, and she looks after the little girl when Driller goes to work

One thing is noticeable is that the little girl is very well dressed and appears to have warm and good quality clothes

Baptiste will not die. He will carry on with his chemo/treatment and survive

And there will be a series 3

Oats That would make Lena/Alice her Mummy and not Sophie. She said the pic was of her and Mummy in the basement. Unless she calls them both Mummy and something happened to Sophie baby?

I think at the end of the series Baptiste will go for his operation and we'll be left wondering if he makes it or not

I don't think Eve is a baddie. The only odd thing so far was turning up in the bar where Sam was and seducing him. I think there are parallels between her character and Sylvie from the first series - both wanting to help the person who had lost a child but both blind to the terrible things the men in their life have done.

New to this thread, as have only just caught up on S2 having blitzed it all over the last few days.

I agree with those who think that Lucy is Sophie's child. I also agree that Alice was the body in the shed, it is the sort of "so near, yet so far" thing that series like this do.

Finally, this could have been mentioned before (I haven't read the other 2 threads), but could it not be that Eve's sister (Anna?) is the Iraqi girl. The Brig said that Eve's birth had been difficult, and also the comment about so many babies. Could it be that he and his wife could not have any more children, and so "acquired" a child from Iraq? I think the Iraqi girl was about 8 or 9 which would mean she was born in the early 80s, so the age fits. The only thing against this theory is that she would have memories and know she had been adopted...

The Brig did make that 'she wanted a family so badly' comment didn't he? We're now assuming he meant the sister but why add 'it hit her hard'? Unless that's meant to be Eve. I'm so confused.

He did Enid, we don't know who he was talking about. I wondered if it was his wife.

There were a lot of scan photos, so I also wondered if it might have been more than one pregnancy (though I believe the do scans frequently in each pregnancy in Germany)

Foxes Eve had Placenta Previa, and it didn't appear to be a surprise to her, so she might have had extra scans.

I thought that about the scans but then put it down to it being a surrogate pregnancy. They do more scans during private fertility treatments if implantation is successful.

But there were a lot of pictures...

I wonder if lena was taken because she discovered drilla's secret. She might have called to his house for some reason, found the girls and got caught by drilla.

No, Olli had died in an accident, but the sad twist was that his father could never accept it and was going to spend his whole life on a fruitless hunt.

I thought the point was that we never found out 100% if Olly DID die? He was still alive when bundled into the boot and escaped once at the house. The gangster was told to kill him but we never saw him do it, or saw a body.

Ollie did not die at the scene of the accident. He was seen at the window of the house where he was kept and where they found the drawing he did on the wall.

It was then suggested that he was killed later. I think he is meant to have suffocated in a car boot?? I can't remember.

At the end his dad is still looking for him and has never refused to give up hope that he is alive and was trafficked into a new family or worse He finds a boy in Russia he thinks could be Ollie but it isn't. Or is it? At the end the boy has drawn Ollie's distinctive stick man in the condensation on a car window.

I wish in this series we could see a happy ending or closure of series 1, but then again there never is happy a ending with these things, so much damage is already done :( I hope we are not left with a non-closure with the current series, that would be awful!

The budget this time round is huge. So I expect a proper ending at least

Just watched the last ep. Those twins are bloody awful. That's all I have...

Is it really sad I actually like a Monday back to work after the weekend now purely because I know that means 2 days until The Missing!

Monday's will be back to being a chore in another 2 weeks!
