Sorry to keep picking at this but part of Delores' storyline is coming home to find a gang has killed her mother and father and then she gets raped. Isn't that also traumatic? That's without the MIB even being in the equation.

A lot of the hosts are used and abused in the Park, that's kind of the place it's become. Logan confirmed this last ep. If 'trauma' was all it took to trigger their memories, they'd never be able to wipe their minds clean.

Also, didn't MIB say once he'd found the maze, he wasn't coming back? (Might have misheard). So I don't think he's going to try and take her out.

(Not trying to cause an argument btw, I'm enjoying the discussion )

One of the hosts told MIB that the maze wasn't for him. I took that as he was human. Maybe Arnold faked his own death. Had already made a copy of himself and got Dolores to shoot it looking like she'd killed a human.
Without the hosts being able to leave Westworld it all seems a bit fruitless.

Yes. I did wonder if he was making a robot version of himself down there. That would be sensible. Season 2 will be great. I can't wait.

That reveal from Teddy and Dolores on the beach to seeing the Delos board watching was nice tv. Very cinematic.

Oh I thought that was really well done, I was thinking that Teddy's speechifying was a bit wtf and overblown and then the music sounded cheesy and then it pulled back for the reveal. Brilliant stuff.

Well the episode has aired / dropped. If I want to avoid spoilers I just stay off the internet until after I've watched. Is have thought most people do. Why come on a thread to discuss a show without having watched the show...

Because the precedent has already been set on this thread that it's not discussed til it's been on Sky. Some people already on this thread don't watch it til then but are still discussing previous episodes. If it's in their active convos and they click on it, you've just dropped some huge spoilers.

Think the piano song near the end was Radiohead Exit music from a film (90s romeo and Juliet movie).

I didn't love it (apart from when Deloris was kicking MIBs arse) but intrigued to see where it goes for season 2.

Ford and Arnold both used the words 'Good Luck' to Deloris when giving the gun so think it was a command for her to end their lives - just Ford wanted his end to be part of the grand finale.
