I wish I knew someone else in real life who was an Outlander fan, it would be nice to share the excitement of the new season with someone rather than sitting on the sofa squealing to myself like a loon.

Presumably they'll release it one episode at a time?

I know what you mean June. I don't know anyone who watches it either (apart from dp who will watch with me but doesn't get it like I do).
If you're in the UK and watch on Amazon the first episode is on 10th Sept in the US then will be available on Amazon the next day here. Not great as it's a Monday so I'll have to wait until evening to see it. I loved watching new episodes on a Sunday morning before. I guess it will be one episode a week alongside the US.

Yes, it's one episode a week. Lucky so-and-so's at comic con got to see the first episode after the interview panel yesterday . There are 2 season 3 trailers, both are awesome. The mad Facebook ladies are now minutely dissecting the print shop shingle for secret codes.
I don't know anyone in real life who either watches or has read the books and my family all mock me senseless over Outlander and my Sam crush. So I have none to share with either. It makes me sad.

I've seen the trailer many times have just watched Comicon panel. Loved DOugal's surprise appearance. Won't be the same without him.

Read all of the books and some LJ in an epic binge last summer wish DG would hurry up and finish the Bee new one

Feeling ridiculously giddy and excited about S3 add to Poldark and GoT I'm all a dither

I binge watched A Place to Call Home and can tell you all that David what's his name who plays Lord John is lovely.

Can't wait to see the gorgeous Rick Rankin as Roger.

The trailers and watching the comicon stuff has made me ridiculously excited and we've got weeks to go until S3 yet!
I've just rewatched S1 and will go on to S2 so I'm ready to pick up the story again in September (as if I don't know the storyline enough by now).
Just reread chunks of voyager as well.
Never wanted the summer to end so fast before.

I have been obsessively watching S1&2 and reading the books - I'm reading DIA & Voyager simultaneously atm - but confusing really but can't help dipping into Voyager ! Am loving it .
Everything else just seems boring now after all those kilts and dirty knees....

Agree MmeF, outlander has ruined Poldark for me.
The problem with reading all of the books is that I'm impatient to see stuff I know will be a few seasons away.

I think she is a bit odd. She doesn't come across all that well in interviews, I don't think.

I agree and find her difficult to listen to. But i really enjoy her tweets, she comes across well on twitter.
I guess interviews are not her strong point, but she can write amazing books and that's the most important thing for us fans.
Have you ever seen the photo of when she greeted Sam and gave him a huge full on the lips kiss? Looks very OTT, but hats off to her for it - I'm sure we'd all attempt that given the chance.

Me too actually. The photo I've seen of him during the cave bit with long hair and beard is a bit of a turn off.

There is a lot of drivel in the books, but I think DG is excellent at characterisation.

I like the longer hair better, but I would have him any way, tbh. In my head, Jenny cut his hair when he came to the house to shave and wash, so it was always about shoulder length, long enough to tangle the fingers in but no long enough to get in the way . I am a sad, old perv, I am afraid.

So, I thought I'd watch final episode is S2 whilst on bike in gym......sobbing in gym when sweaty puce mess is not attractive bet SH doesn't look like sweaty puce mess when he exercises
