I wrote myself a long to do list, to catch up on the six weeks of not doing anything remotely houseworky, but have luckily been invited out to coffee, so can shelve that for a bit longer! Today's going to be a good day :)

Just been on Facebook and realised that for the fifth year running my epic parenting fail of yet again forgetting to take the obligatory first day back at school picture. Next year I must schedule it into the sleeping in (why do the kids only learn to sleep past 7 o'clock on the first day back at school), yelling and hunting for school shoes at the last minute while running out the door asking how we can possible already be late on the first day back!

Just coming down from my Poldark-filled cloud and RL is still as bleedin shite as pre 9pm last night Why can't my DH use his chisel like that?

Never mind, only two more sleeps till the next totty-fix, although obvs it's the wonderful dramatic drama of the dramatisation I'm interested in. I certainly will not be noticing any low slung combats, neck nape curls or big watches, ohhh no.

Only got one little bleeder back to school today, so full freedom for me from tomorrow, hurrah!

Thanks ilove, woof, mads & mooj. Not sure what I'm going to do with that story in the long run (or when I'm going to find the time). I'm feeling a bit OG flat at the moment. I hope a glimpse of a low slung combat will perk me up.

Enjoyed Poldark last night, but I fell asleep on the sofa trying to watch Victoria.

Getting back into the work mindset was a bit of a struggle today; at one point I wanted to clean the toilet instead of dealing with all the e mails.

Interesting interview ice. I am using all my mobile data at the moment as there are some things I don't want my work colleagues to see me looking at! Very excited for Wednesday and hope it gives you some inspiration pixie. It really got me "in the zone" as they say.

Evening all - hope it wasn't too painful today everyone. We had a dry run on Friday as my kids had to go back for one day - what a daft idea but it sort of broke them in for the first full week. Sadly though I've had to work all summer anyway so it makes no odds to me.

Interesting clip and a tantalisingly revealing interview - just a few little nuggets to help us read between the plotlines. I'm getting vibes of where this may go I hope!

Well I enjoyed Poldark but I nodded off a little bit at the end. I think it needs to get going a bit - perhaps next week. The problem is as I'm familiar with the old version I sort of know what's going to happen but still as the announcer said just before the start at 9pm it's certainly mighty warm in those mines!

I've still got to catch up on Victoria so I've got that for tonight. I have informed DH that I've booked the entire lounge to myself for 9pm on Wednesday and told the kids they are very welcome to mooch about in their rooms as they usually do . I might be prepared to share the room with the dog provided he doesn't get overly excited by animals on screen or people running about - that sets him off too. Might employ the subtitles just in case he drowns out the speech or I can't understand MK - sometimes she talks a bit quickly for my rather dumb southern ears. Roll on Wednesday.
