I know we discussed it on the previous thread, but does Jon know from Sam that Bran is alive in the show? If yes, Sansa knows, too.

Well, Sansa's original story line was to have the monster Joffrey 's baby and turn on the Starks. Maybe the show runners will use it now with Ramsay.

EverySongbirdSays · 23/05/2016 12:43

Sansa's original storyline

When? It's not in the books or show.

Jon knows in the show, but not the book I think. Strange it's not been mentioned by either though.

Has he told her? Or kept a secret?

Also question. Why was Bran even warging, when the Raven had already told them they had to get out ASAP?

OP posts:
IAmNotAMindReader · 23/05/2016 12:51

If they had gone back to the present andBran had waged into Hodor it wouldn't have made Hodor Hodor. The act of warging into him in the past created a link between Wilts and Hodor and seeing his own death like that and the strain of being waged into broke his mind. The sad part is he knew all along. This explains why Hodor got so upset every time there was fighting around him. Each time he thought it might be be the event he saw. Finally he knew this one was it but held on anyway.

teaandcake789 · 23/05/2016 13:04

The Raven took him back so he could warg into hodor so hodor could save him. Destiny.
The rational part of me says Sansa is not pregnant. She would know by now if she was as I'm sure by the time she escaped, met Briene, road by horse to the wall in thick snow, caught up with Jon, even made herself a pretty dress, her 2ww would be up. The other part of me thinks meh this is game of thrones, timelines are a bit hazy, anything could happen

pyrowall · 23/05/2016 13:11

unless she was making a new dress so she could fit into it...

ElspethFlashman · 23/05/2016 13:17

Just saw it.....

WAAAAHHHHHHH!

Can't talk! Blubbing!! SadSadSad

teaandcake789 · 23/05/2016 13:25

Maybe. But, although the book and show have gone off in wildly different directions, are they not meant to reach the same conclusion? As then Sansa cannot be pregnant and bear Ramsey's child as in the book she never marries him

pyrowall · 23/05/2016 13:39

teaandcake - I'm just teasing...

Didn't know they were meant to reach the same conclusion - I thought that the series was going to come to an end before the books are finally published.

TheNorthRemembers · 23/05/2016 13:44

I'd be very surprised if the books and the show had the same ending now.

teaandcake789 · 23/05/2016 13:55

I just assumed they had the same ending. I know I read somewhere GRRM had told the producers the planned ending years ago just incase he doesn't live long enough to write it! On the whole, the books and the show are heading in the same direction, just taking different routes to get there

CaitAgusMadra · 23/05/2016 13:56

Agree, I assume the writers of the show can't just take up from where the books left off. They'll have gotten directions, key plot points from George

EverySongbirdSays · 23/05/2016 13:57

Yes, but, he changed his mind when writing so it can no longer be considered remotely canon. She could easily be pregnant now of course, esp. the post about the dress, but I DON'T SEE IT SOMEHOW, obviously I'm not necessarily right.

OP posts:
EverySongbirdSays · 23/05/2016 13:59

The stuff they've done on the show with Hodor etc is apparently straight from the Horse's mouth (GRRM) Ithink he's told them basics of where every character is going.

OP posts:
pyrowall · 23/05/2016 13:59

I'm not in either camp BTW, just making conversation...but it would make it interesting if she was.

PreviouslyMal · 23/05/2016 14:02

Sam was sworn to secrecy about Bran and Rickon in the book, in the show, he told Jon.
Sansa did say "Arya and Bran and Rickon, wherever they are"

PreviouslyMal · 23/05/2016 14:07

There was something in the way she said she could still feel Ramsay and what he did, in her body , to little finger, I'm sure she would know about moon tea though, there is no way she would want his child.

Is anyone watching the behind the scenes episodes, they are on YouTube, I'm watching the one about episode 3 + 4 now.

BelfastBloke · 23/05/2016 14:09

Enjoyed the knockabout theatre show, with The Actor Kevin Eldon as Ned Stark. Who did Richard E Grant play?

EverySongbirdSays · 23/05/2016 14:11

Behold the Behind The Scenes Discussion with Benioff/Weiss

Bloodraven is "uploading" himself INTO Bran.

OP posts:
NFmama · 23/05/2016 14:12

I am traumatised Sad

EverySongbirdSays · 23/05/2016 14:13

X post with Mal there but lots of extra tidbits.

I don't think they have or will do anything that GRRM doesn't OK

OP posts:
EverySongbirdSays · 23/05/2016 14:14

Was Richard E Robert?

OP posts:
ElspethFlashman · 23/05/2016 14:27

Oh yes, Richard E Grant. WTF?? I doubt he took the part just for 2 lines so am wondering if he'll have a bigger role next week. Maybe he'll be the one who ordered the hit on the actress and Arya will decide to off him instead. She certainly won't kill her.

In the books wasn't it the dwarf she was supposed to kill as he had been misidentified as Tyrion? I can't really remember.

AgingJuvenileBinkyHuckaback · 23/05/2016 14:43

I haven't seen the trailer yet, so I only know the title "Blood of my blood". I assume that surely we must have the Bed of Blood and the revelation of Jon's parentage now...surely? But if I were writing it, then the combination of that title, Sansa's possible pregnancy and the proximity of Melisandre would be the cue for a spectacularly unpleasant and messy but highly saitsfying abortion/blood magic revenge plot in which Ramsay is strangled by his own foetus.

And yes, Coldhands/Benjen to the rescue of Meera and Bran.
