Anyone watching?

OP posts:
Namechanger2015 · 26/12/2015 21:25

Yes, I've never watched any Agatha Christie before. So far so good. The Coke head host is ridiculously good looking!

DMCWelshCakes · 26/12/2015 21:27

Yes. I'm already a bit scared. Smile

I went to see the play in the theatre about 20 years ago & it still creeps me out!

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 26/12/2015 21:28

Yes I am. Good so far I love Charles Dance and love an Agatha Christie drama on a lazy day

DorothyL · 26/12/2015 21:28

Deciding whether to watch this later - what age rating would you give it?

Sorry just to clarify - do you think they're ok to watch it?

Baressentials · 26/12/2015 21:39

Yes I'm watching. Love Agatha Christie. Have read the book many times but never seen a tv adaptation of this one. Feels as though it might be darker than other AC adaptations.
Would love to see one of her books on stage!

Not sure I would let my dd (10) watch it. Certainly not until I have seen it first and she enjoys AC too.

londonrach · 26/12/2015 21:42

Wheres the bbc set it as its not burge island...is it lundy.

CremeBrulee · 26/12/2015 21:43

Recording it as was planning to watch with DD13 who loves Agatha Christie. What makes it dark?

Muffintopmum · 26/12/2015 21:43

Yes I'm watching - it's just getting interesting and has the really rather lovely Aidan Turner! According to the RT he spends much of his time dressed only in a towel - waiting out patiently...

Definitely not like the usual AC adaptations.

GeorginaWorsley · 26/12/2015 21:49

The harbour scene was Mullion cove in Cornwall.
My favourite place!

londonrach · 26/12/2015 21:50

Very very dark and just seen first of the 10 murders. Not sure i can take this. Certainly different from the others. (Considers grapping my enid blyton and heading to bed to get rid of image)

MartinRohdesBellybuttonFluff · 26/12/2015 21:50

I've just realised the next James Bond should be Aidan Turner Shock

He's gorgeous, looks suitably rugged when required and smooth in a tux. Wow!

londonrach · 26/12/2015 21:51

Thanks georgina you dont know the island

DMCWelshCakes · 26/12/2015 21:51

Definitely not suitable for children. I'd say it's a 15 so far. It's sinister & creepy as well as a bit gory. I think it's likely to get worse too.

CremeEggThief · 26/12/2015 21:51

Are the Rogers couple part of the ten? Not sure what to make of this yet.Confused

londonrach · 26/12/2015 21:51

Maggie smith son toby stephens is good. Secind murder im heading to bed....

londonrach · 26/12/2015 21:53

Husband just said its make believe but this is sooo dark. Well acted but very dark and the build up prior to the murder.

WeThreeMythicalKings · 26/12/2015 21:54

Aidan is always good value. Smile

I know the plot inside out so if they don't mess with it I know what will happen. But I'm still going to watch it. Smile

LIZS · 26/12/2015 21:55

It is pretty graphic.
