Christmas is feeling like a minor interruption on the road to the season finale. I want it over with so we're closer to seeing just how sensible Carrie was when she went alone down a sarin-loaded train tunnel, and the total number of injuries Quinn can sustain in a single season. I predict he'll leave hospital and there will be some freak injury involving currywurst.

I have just watched the end of Homeland - fabulous. I did spend the last 10 mins shouting 'what was in the letter?!' at the tv.

I enjoyed Deutchland much more than I thought I would. DH was refusing to watch it as couldn't be bothered with subtitles, but even he got pulled in.

That was so good. I like the dissonance, if that's the right word - I'm Team Martin, but yet he's a baddie. In the early Homeland days, I was never really Team Brodie.

I don't really understand what's going on with Annet/Annette - one minute she's snogging random bloke in a lake, the next she's so devoted to Martin that she's moving in with the mother.

A critic asked why shows like Homeland and Game of Thrones have been cliff-hanging with characters who may or may not be alive.
Because lots of shows do it to keep interest up from one season to the next? Stupid question.

They seem to film it only a few weeks before broadcasting it.

I've recorded it, will watch it later in the week. I did manage to watch an episode of Spin though, and discovered it has a former Spiral cast member in its number. :)

I've not had a chance to watch any episodes yet (but have recorded them) hopefully this weekend I will get some time to watch them all
