Just catching up on Masterchef, but recorded it rich - I missed the first one though, does it matter?

Yes you need to watch the beginning nickel, it is odd!

I watched London Spy last night, not sure what to make of it. It has a very strong 'look' to it, I normally find that sort of thing off-putting.

It's a bit "arty". I want to stick with it as the cast is superb and I like Ben Witshaw, and I'm now intrigued!

I've stuck it in planner but haven't started watching yet looks deep and I'm not sure I can follow at the mo.

I really like London Spy. The cast is really good and I like Charlotte Rampling. Its maybe a bit slow going but I think in the coming episodes, its going to pick up and itll be a great thriller.

DD's been crying for the last hour or so saying she has a sore ear. Think she may be getting an infection in it. I'm sure there's only three days in the year where all the kids are well at once.

Evening ladies. Very late tonight - CJ and I had other things to do! He had a very busy day catching up with some fellow army officer or other and was in excellent spirits when he returned.

RL is just so depressing at the moment - I really need CJ to help take my mind off things! The only good thing at work is that I am moving to a better desk with an actual window with an actual view (ok, so it's of a car park, but it's a window which opens so I am not complaining). I spent an hour this afternoon sorting stuff to throw out. You know the kind of thing - files and handouts which were probably thought to be useful at some stage but haven't been touched in years.

I couldn't get into London Spy. It's Cuffs tomorrow - definitely enjoying that one.

So glad that in greenstuff's update, CJ and Molly did actually meet up. I was beginning to think they would never see each other again.

... and pixie has updated too so am going to read that before putting the light out.

Yes it would be lovely if I updated, cos then some other bugger would have written it for me. Great update by Whaj, CJ's resolve is crumbling!

Awful news this morning about Jonah Lomu, he was the same age as me.

Really stormy few days in Cornwall, Barney feeling very grumpy. Stoping off in Exeter today on our way home - will be staying alert!

Ah yes dizzy Feeling Foxy is my latest covert mission. I didn't realize the t shirt merchandise had been released in time for the Christmas market already, but that's down to orph making Foxy too premature as usual

Oo I wish I was feeling Foxy dizzy. Actually I tweeted him the other day saying I loved his series, I thought he was cute and he actually favourited it!

Its really sad about Jonah Lomu, isn't it, pix. He seemed like a really nice man. I remember years ago before his team started a rugby match, watching him do the display they do (is it called a haka?) and being mesmerised by him.

Yes I saw that pic of SA. Thing is she posted that as she was coming back from being in Dubai for a couple of days. Its strange. Is it still January it starts filming?

Just checked MK's Twitter again and the same day she sent that pic, she'd sent a tweet saying she was sitting watching the X Factor so it sounded like she was at home.

Spotted MK photo BBC also filming a drama in SA at moment called Undercover. But she's not listed on cast so maybe she was checking out places to stay in SA when she is filming

Morning all. So windy in the night and absolutely hammering it down with rain at the moment. Looked like a drowned rat when I walked in from the car park. Even CJ didn't look his usual polished self but has now disappeared off to the gents to fix his hair.

Good news in RL is that the physio reckons she can fix my shoulder without referral to the consultant. That's one weight off my mind now thankfully.

I'm hoping the cast are all going to stay in the same sort of hotel together and hopefully MK won't be wanting to stay in some really posh place instead.

We are all very sad about Jonah Lomu. He is an icon in New Zealand and a tremendous role model for young people. He had chronic kidney disease, but never once complained, just got on with life and did a lot for KIDNEY KIDS, and other Kiwi charities.
Wonderful Rugby player,could just as easily have been an Olympic athlete, humble and gentle, loved his two little boys to distraction.
When someone like him passes, we say "A mighty totara has fallen". Totara are native trees which grow to a great height and are prized for their beautiful timber. Cutting them down is forbidden these days.

I need to step back from finishing my ff story for a few days. The story line brings me too close to real life events at present and I can't write without crying. Viva la France!

Definately really sad news about JL, big rugby family here and a name that was regulary mentioned at home during his playing career. Didn't realised how poorly he was

She seems better today mads thanks. Made a docs appt anyway to have a look. It was funny overnight as DD was in our bed and I thought I had my hand over her sore ear for a good half hour or so as it soothes her but then for some reason (and I don't know how I didn't realise) but I hand my hand over DH's ear instead.

Ah well at least he had a bit of TLC from me that he doesn't normally get. We had a good laugh about it.

That's really funny kelly bet it was quite soothing for your dh!
