Asda done and got home before it started to rain again.

Homework with K done, just need to iron uniform and work stuff now.

icemistOBE · 15/11/2015 14:09

Years and Years are on strictly tonight

Ilovelblue · 15/11/2015 14:38

pixie I thought I'd need one myself as it just wouldn't stop bleeding. I kept hearing Molly saying "Direct pressure, put direct pressure on it!". Every time I took the cotton wool off, it started up again. In the end, I remember reading once that if you sprinkle pepper on the wound, it helps it to clot and it worked!

pixieg1rl · 15/11/2015 15:47

Who are Years and Years?

Watching Tangled with DS. The main character looks like an animated Gleb

Hope your fingers ok ilove , I end up doing things like that when I'm rushing!

Desperately trying to get sorted to sit down for results show, but I'm guessing I will watch it on catch up. Successfully finished putting together IKEA furniture and putting DS bed back and all his other stuff. All single handily on my own, (DH was in such a mood as he didn't want me doing it) shininess rather chuffed I didn't need to ask for help!

Just hope when he comes back from Germany he appreciates my efforts!

pixie I envy those afternoons of watching Disney films cuddled up on the sofa. My eldest went to a friends to today to "bang out Call of Duty" his words! He has now come home with a headache (too
Much screen time) and seriously pissed me off!

Ilovelblue · 15/11/2015 19:31

Two glasses of wine with tea... can I now stay awake for the SCD results?

Ilovelblue · 15/11/2015 19:57

Bye bye Jeremy!

KellyHb · 15/11/2015 21:03

Phew sitting down finally although I've got uniform to iron in a minute.

I'm really not looking forward to another week of chivvying kids along and doing the school run. Sad The boys have been real hard work and very testy for the past week or so. Hoping it's just a phase as me and DH are seriously cheesed off with them but can't wait until next weekend when apparently MIL is coming up for a day or two to give me and DH a break for a couple of hours. Fingers crossed.

Bought a tree today but apparently most trees nowadays are pre-lit ones. I was deliberating but went for a non pre lit one in the end. Hope the boys don't try and pull it over! Shock

Yey Years and Years. I like their stuff. Their songs remind me of BA as he's seen them live before. I'll watch Strictly on catch up.

What a star rich Star Sometimes the saying is true, if you want a job doing, do it yourself. I think I've said before I like Ikea furniture.

Hope your soggy carpet gets dried out mads Oh I promise I won't wear CJ out too much for you either. Wink

ilove have we worked out if CJ is flying when he comes to me? Hope your finger's better.

Ilovelblue · 15/11/2015 21:17

Finger is still attached thanks Richtea and Kelly. CJ kissed it better!

I took him out this afternoon to show him the local lanes etc. I'd forgotten how quick he walked. I seemed to be permanently out of breath. The fact he is almost a foot taller than me seemed to cut no ice at all. We had the usual "Put some bloody effort in" and I'm afraid I told him to p* off.

Kelly if Richtea can get him to Heathrow or Gatwick, I think it's best if he flies, don't you?

pixieg1rl · 15/11/2015 21:51

Be wary around Heathrow, prime area for an abduction by woof

Why aren't there more hours in the weekend? I don't feel like I'm ready for the coming week.

Ooh ilove lucky you had CJ there to kiss all of you your finger better.
Good work with the furniture rich. My manchild is in a sulk with me over the carpet Angry gonna try and sort it tomorrow hopefully once he's sulked of to work.
Prelit ones kelly blimey? I need a new tree but will probably end up with a cheap from tesco incase the dog wrecks it. Oh and I can just imagine you standing at arrivals at Newcastle with your CJ sign ready to pounce when he staunters through! Smile
Such an amazing one day update..... Am in love with this story.

Richtea19 · 15/11/2015 22:03

Yes no prob with the Heathrow or Gatwick drop off, might book a cab, no need to waste valuable time driving when we shag chat in the back.

kelly I bought a new Xmas tree year before last after Xmas in the sale. I was convinced it was a prelit one, put it in the loft unopened. In the summer had a tidy up in the loft chucked all the fairy lights away and then at Christmas got our tree down to find it wasn't prelit!! DH not amused!

Ilovelblue · 15/11/2015 22:06

Do you and Kelly need any tips at all Maddie? We've all ahem entertained CJ a few times already but I wouldn't necessarily say he's the easiest of houseguests. Pretty anal I thought when it came to tidiness (housework isn't my favourite of occupations) but he was pretty nifty with a duster and the vacuum cleaner so I let him off. Likes driving - can't work out whether he dislikes women drivers or just dislikes being a passenger, so we've had a few sulks. I was happy for him to take my Mum's friend back yesterday so handed over the keys willingly.

He's pretty good with children though as you would expect. He entertained my friend's little boy for hours when I was looking after him for the day. They spent ages in my apple tree building a den and then played at soldiers as you might imagine.

Nickel45 · 15/11/2015 22:18

quick catch up ...
ilove hope your finger is ok. I did the same a while back, on a tuna can, and kept thinking 'direct pressure' too!!!
mads hope the floor is drying out.
congrats Mooj :)
rhu, just caught up on the last two chapters of your ff, it's so brilliant, fantastic writing, can't wait to see what happens next.

I've just watched the first ep of Cuffs (bit behind at the mo), that Jacob Ifan is rather scrummy :) might have to watch the next ep now!

Ilovelblue · 15/11/2015 22:24

He is rather delish isn't he Nickel? Supposed to be gay in the series though. Guess who his agents are - HH of course! May be interesting to see if they help him progress his career.

You seem to have been quiet lately - are you busy?

Nickel45 · 15/11/2015 22:28

I'll keep a watch out for him :)

Life as busy as ever, but kids current phase is to see how late they can stay awake, so by the time I usually get on here it's either really late or in between dealing with them. Keep telling myself it's just a phase (I hope!). Xx

BK28 · 16/11/2015 01:24

Big grovelling to CJ about the transport issue - the Jaguar CX75 was proving a tricky drive in the high winds and that was once we had got it out of customs - it's starring role in Spectre had every dock worker wanting a feel - promise I'll make it up to you when we next meet. ilove has updated me and will defo being going for something low slung to pick you up in, warm you up for your trip to orphan. Maybe some opportunity for a bit of R&R at my pre Xmas Spa Break! Grin Wink

Big thanks to rhu, Whajand only for some cracking updates this weekend - just what were needed for a wet and windy weekend! Wine

pixieg1rl · 16/11/2015 07:18

BA dream last night. He was learning German.

OP posts:
Ilovelblue · 16/11/2015 07:57

You can't leave it there pixie. Was it an X rated dream?

Ilovelblue · 16/11/2015 08:00

Taking CJ to work with me today. Am sure he will cause a stir. Interesting to see what my gay friend thinks of him.

BK28 · 16/11/2015 08:02

All those guttural sounds Pix bet he'd be bloody good at that!

pixieg1rl · 16/11/2015 08:26

Sadly it was very tame. I blame DS who got me up 4 times in the night with bad dreams, needing a wee/cuddle etc. It's all very lovely being told you're the best mummy in the world, but not at the expense of some quality time helping someone get their tongue around some difficult syllables (I don't actually know any German, I took French & Latin at school and was hopeless at both)

OP posts:
cjwoofwoof · 16/11/2015 09:02

That's an odd dream pix coz usually my syllable is never ever difficult when there's a spare tongue lurking Grin

BK28 · 16/11/2015 09:06

Actually Pix I'd take a real life cuddle over a dream at the mo!

Plus I'm on the same page as you with the old Latin and French route - though in hindsight German might have been of more practical use than Latin!!
