MrMads has the date marked in his diary I think. This year he brought steak home after work.... I was 7 and half months pregnant.... He didn't get dessert!

Evening all. Just managed to get rid of an ex-work colleague who came round for what I hoped would be tea and a quick chat but she's only just gone. Been looking at photos of the holiday she went on with her twin sister to celebrate their 50th birthdays last month. I know I'm fairly average (not thin but not too fat either) but they were one bad advert for being obsessive about what they eat. The other sister in particular looked scrawny and haggard. Maybe I'm just jealous that they were on sunloungers in bikinis with no fat on them at all.... but not a good look at 50.

She tells everyone that she comes here for a square meal. Apparently, last night she had a bowl of porridge. I suppose I would look good in a bikini if all I ate for my tea was porridge.

Time to wash up and go to bed.

Ha! Had never heard of ye olde tradition of March 14 and can't say I'll be celebrating it in the future either. I'll be on my guard in future when dp suggests we have steak for dinner...

I missed catastrophe the first time round Kelly, but we've been watching it on catchup the last few weeks. I was laughing/identifying strongly at one of the episodes last night where she's on antidepressants and not really feeling up for sex and they were shagging and she was saying 'ouch' every time he thrust into her and 'go to the left'. It was like someone had put a microphone into our bedroom 3 years ago.

I've been hearing fab things about catastrophe from lots of people.... Sounds like I need to partake!

whajebs chapter was absolutely fab. What was also fab was re-creating the moment with CJ last night against the wall of the house.... He's more than happy to recreate any scene

Not raining here for a change but still very cloudy. Just got in from taking a twin to a hospital appt and we had an unexpected treat when we saw the Pay and Display machine not working!

I've not read the other chapters of whajebs story as I'm so shockingly behind on reading and reviewing but I had to read that chapter and ditto, a very tense chapter and so fab! I wish it had been part of S1.

Love Catastrophe pix and glad you've seen a couple of episodes. I missed the first series but loving this one. I love Rob. He's absolutely hilarious! They both are really.

Lucky you mads. I hope that he's up for a bit of that wall action when I have him this weekend.

I'm thinking I should probably watch Peep Show, I've never seen it, and my nephew will probably disown me if I don't. In my defence I wasn't in the country when it started and I never caught it.

I'll check out on there, thanks pix but also if you've never seen Peep Show, you'll love it. I think it'll be right up your street! We've watched most of the series over the years and theyre excellent.

I do hope the FF writers keep writing about Molly and CJ even when there's a new female lead in S2. I love reading about them.

I'm just back from work having completed my Condom Training!!! Just in time for CJs visit to me tomorrow!!!! I have been given the task of rolling out training to the rest of the staff, they thought it would fit well with my Chlamydia tasks!!!!!!

All joking aside its a really good scheme targeted at 14-24yr olds. They get a card and then are able to obtain condoms for free. I was slightly shocked at the age! However it's awareness for unwanted pregnancies and STDs! What a day!!

richtea when ds was in year 9 they had a talk about sexual health etc and were given the opportunity to take some free condoms. Was rather surprised to discover they were flavoured ones!

Can we bestow a title on you now Richtea? Queen of Condoms? Mistress of the Prophylactics, High Priestess of STIs?

Oh go on then pixie I'll take those titles! I'm head of Sexual Awareness at work!!!
We did laugh as we give out 6 to the under 16s and 12 to overs. I said the 6 would last me a year!! And yes orphan mixture of flavoured and ribbed and also included in the pack are 2 sachets of "lube"!

Sexual health education in school has definately come a long way since I was there. All we had was a very outdated information video to watch, narrated by a Mr Chomondley Warner type which all the girls sat bright red at the mention of the word 'sex' while the boys laughed all the way through.
