nickel it's recipes and food delivered to your door in one box - 3 meals. Wouldn't normally have bothered was given a free voucher and its quite good if you fancy a change from what you would normally cook. Get one every now and when they send out discount.

Just watched on catch up a documentary Guy Martin did about the last flight of the Vulcan bomber. It was very emotional. What a beautiful aircraft. Such a shame she's grounded now.

Evening all. Done my good turn for the day and been to visit the mother of the man who died at work a few weeks ago. She talked a lot, as you would expect, but didn't show too much emotion so I was fine - if she'd cried, I'd have been a wreck I think. I did volunteer hospital visiting for four years and I think that helped - I used to hear some horrible stories and you learn not to cry in front of the person!

I knew her husband had been in the army but I didn't realise her father had been too. They were based at Catterick but then when she met her husband to be by going to a regimental dinner with her father (as her mother was indisposed), her mother more or less threw her out and they eloped to Gretna. I'd never known that story and it quite amused me.

Kelly was it you who said you thought working from home would be great? I class it as a perk and it's handy when for example you have workmen in or something being delivered, when previously I would have had to take the morning off work but I wouldn't want to do it full time. That winter when the country seemed to run out of salt to grit the roads, I worked at home the whole week and it did my head in by the end! I think I like to have people to chat to (probably a bit too much truth be told) and it definitely makes the day go quicker.

I've taped that kelly, will try to watch tomorrow. I watched Ep 4 of London Spy tonight, really glad I stuck with it, brilliant spy story.

BK thanks for being chauffeuse again. What car will you be using next to take CJ to Richtea?

I've just snuck downstairs to get us some grub after an afternoon and evening of getting acquainted and hearing about all the rest of you lovely ladies ! He's moaned a lot about me only having a double bed.... He's used to super King! I'm not complaining as it means lots of spooning and he is get happy to be the very big spoon Anyway must get back he's promised to read me a QS bedtime story later

Maddie take no notice of him - I only have a double bed - he's trying his luck! Did he tell you how one of my cats jumped on him one morning (which he does when he wants food) and he - CJ that is - nearly shot through the roof. It was funny.

Oh yes maddie get him to do his special 'Jackoffanory' voice. Of course he does all the actions to the story as well...

Ahhh I see. Why have I not heard of this until now. Thanks jen. I couldn't cook a steak to save my life and I would probably fall asleep halfway through doing the other, I'm that damn tired all the time.

Thanks jen Defo not one for MrBK - if he wants steak he cooks it, wasn't part of my wedding vows, along with housework type duties!!! Wouldn't want to get his hopes for the other either!!
