woof if you ever get your wing mirror replaced, I'll arrange CJ to deliver your repaired car straight to your door (it is a CJ car after all) and he'll give you a nice massage to relieve any built up stress Smile

moojangles · 16/07/2015 18:06

Congratualtions rhu and happy shopping. Nice to see you're a fellow allotmenteer dance, having a year off courgettes this year. We have chickens on ours too.
Crazy week at work almost over, almostConfused

cjwoofwoof · 16/07/2015 18:29

Aw thanks kel that is most helpful indeed. Maybe I'll break the other mirror next week so I can have a repeat massage session from CJ following the cars safe return.

Rhubarb01 · 16/07/2015 19:22

Evening! Well it's all change in Rhubarb land right now. My two youngest finish Primary School tomorrow and it feels quite poignant even though I'd just about got fed up with all the primary school stuff and the rules etc and was looking forward to not having to be involved in dropping off and fetching anymore. But it's the end of an era and there's a sense that they are all suddenly growing up. Will have to keep myself under control at the leavers assembly and do a lot of lump swallowing I think!

cjwoofwoof · 16/07/2015 19:32

Ditto Rhu mine finishes next Wed - can't wait, totally fed up with primary school. My tears will be tears of joy for sure.

pix it's amazing the damage you can do with a cricket bat isn't it?

KellyHb · 16/07/2015 19:39

I was just thinking that earlier pix . Was thinking of making my car a complete right off. Grin

Actually a business idea came to me. CJ delivers cars that needed any type of repair work doing, straight to owners home dressed in combats and would also offer on delivery a comprehensive physical support system that may need days/weeks to complete in room of clients choosing. Stern Face Samaritans perhaps? Grin

I volunteer to test the system once I let a sledge hammer loose on my car!

pixieg1rl · 16/07/2015 19:39

I'm at the other end of the spectrum Rhu and Woof, worrying that mine isn't ready for primary school.

cjwoofwoof · 16/07/2015 19:58

Give him a couple of days and he'll love it pix , infants is a doddle and rest assured the time will absolutely fly by

KellyHb · 16/07/2015 20:13

I worry pix that my twin boys are too small for school nursery. They're absolutely tiny. I doubt I'll get uniform to fit them. I might have to call on rhu to do some clothing alternations Confused

pixieg1rl · 16/07/2015 20:22

I should clarify, he'll probably be fine, he's been in nursery almost full time since he was 13 months old. I'm completely unprepared for the change in life this is forcing on me. Still, in a fit of organisation I have bought all the school uniform, mainly to give me the summer to see name tags on.

pixieg1rl · 16/07/2015 20:24

Your nursery requires a uniform? Are they insane?

KellyHb · 16/07/2015 20:26

Yip they do. It would be far easier if they didn't.

Onlygirljen · 16/07/2015 21:03

Evening! Been awol - wifi coverage appalling down here. Today involved a lot of riding Thomas the tank engine Confused. For all of those who've read the Thomas ff, Rosie's gaping steam hole wasn't involved...

pixieg1rl · 16/07/2015 21:11

You filthy mare jen. Did you give Thomas a happy ending?

Onlygirljen · 16/07/2015 21:24

Let's just say they had to retire him mid afternoon and bring in Percy to finish the day Grin.

pixieg1rl · 16/07/2015 21:35

It's a train orgy! Shock

KellyHb · 16/07/2015 21:39

Just watched a programme about twins that was on last night. Quite interesting.

I saw that Nick Preston had a comedy pilot on TV this week and Simon Preston ran a 5k run thing in London. You never see BA sending them supportive tweets or anything. I suppose it's that blue tick thing on BAs twitter.

ice seeing as BAs got that blue tick thing on Twitter, does that mean any tweets he sends don't show up on the recipients twitter acct as they're private?

icemistOBE · 16/07/2015 22:05

Yes, he can protect his tweets. But even before he got the blue tick he hardly ever posted....

OP posts:
KellyHb · 16/07/2015 22:21

Ah right so tweets he sends wont show up in receivers mailbox either.

I had heard he never tweets. Shame really. It would be nice to think he keeps in touch with 2 section actors still.

Nickel45 · 16/07/2015 22:24

orph, a bit late, and you might have already gone, but have a good holiday. Hope you can find a bit of a signal so you can pop in :)

jen I can't believe you managed to go to see Thomas and managed to keep a straight face. I can't see it on TV without cringing and laughing!!!
