Series 2... filming starts Jan 2016

I've just been out for a fake bake session, had my eyebrows tattooed and humongous hair extensions attached. I think she is trying to be me.

I've missed on 2 meets due to prior arrangements so if anyone is in Manc land let me know

Well ladies, I didn't really want to say anything but I'm actually wearing my leopard skin jumpsuit, 8 bangles on each arm made of the finest cheap plastic, written Dolce & Gabbana on my arm a la CJ style and wearing eyelashes so huge, I can't actually see where I'm going while stroking my two huge china dalmations dogs that sit either side of my swivelling leather armchair.

Have you treated yourself to a poke of chips recently kels?

Rushing around like a headless chicken getting ready for hol tomorrow. Have ditched the diamond bikini this year and plumped and that unfortunately is a very apt word for a Nigella style burkini.

I'm talking Rupe with me to France as he wants to practice for a role he may be playing - suave French nobleman who falls madly in love with a middle aged British woman on holiday. Despite her alarming propensity to bulge out of her swimwear, he whisks her off to his own Red Room in his chateau and plies her with patisseries and kir royales. So just another ordinary holiday for me.

Will be out of contact for first week then hopefully have wifi for second. I expect I'll have a bumper lot of reading to catch up on here and the ff site!

You do so much for Rupe orphan, the sacrifices you make for the authenticity of his acting are astounding.

Just calling in as am in a WiFi free zone...had a house full of non CJ type men doing trades but managed a link up with Lola for a break from painting for a lovely chat and an obligatory glass of prosecco!! Did have to make use of the computers in the local library to get on line, was feeling a bit cut off, currently stood in the loo where I can get a signal!!!
Have discovered that sanding down teak wood can leave you with a definite afghan grime looking tan!!!
Excitement over the road ...have just spotted Brian McFadden and film crew. Think they are recording who does the dishes??? Just catching up with the latest ff and will re enjoy in my WiFi free moments!!!

woof your creative juices in full flow are awe inspiring as dear Ian used to tell you although I'm not sure you're penning an accurate portrait of Prudey. Don't know about other readers, but I'm not getting a sense of her stunning good looks... And on hol, I'll make sure to give your love to the local gendarmerie. I remember how much you enjoyed trying to grab their batons and give them a twirl.

That is sad news, I was a latecomer to BS42, but I loved it. I did sort of assume that the last series was the end though. I've had the DVDs sitting in my Amazon basket for weeks, might have to actually buy them now.

Evening , been out with work tonight. I see cj has updated her FF, not had chance to read it yet.

I'm also off to France next month - first few days in Lyon. Checked up on the weather forecast earlier and next week, they are expecting temperatures of 38 C. Not entirely sure how I will cope with that sort of heat and humidity. Time for it to cool off with any luck before we go.

Nickel shame about BS42 and like pixie, I was also a latecomer to it. Actually, it was through you that I started watching it! I also assumed it was the final series with the withdrawal from Afghanistan etc though.

I watched episode 4 of OG tonight whilst ironing. I don't know how everyone else feels but as much as I love it, with having read all the fab ff, it seems a bit tame at times now. You know, CJ is sometimes back in civvy street, MD has a child (and sometimes four!), CJ is promoted to Major, MD is out in Kenya..... That said however, I did rewind several times to the scenes in CJ's cabin and of course the famous bunker scene!

Just been watching Escape from Isis on Channel 4. Absolutely harrowing stuff. If ever we needed to remind ourselves how fortunate we are living here, watching something like that is enough.

Just to illustrate the point, having turned over to BBC1 I'm now asking myself who commissioned a documentary entitled The Trouble with Mobility Scooters!

I have that on Rhubarb but only because I'm on the internet and it's just background noise. Some pretty scary characters on there!

Ditto on that Ilove. It just struck me what a contrast after watching something so appalling that left me feeling angry and unable to do anything about it, to find that BBC license payers money is being spent on programmes about people who can't operate a mobility scooter. What a fortunate world we live in.
