ooh now that would have been nice... my 5yo asked me why I had photos of a soldier in my handbag the other day. I said he was my friend Blush feck knows what hubby would say. I don't carry photos of him in my bag and I certainly don't have 300 a few photos of him either on my phone Grin

Excellent covert surveillance Jen, although your 8 year old sounds like a plant to derail your operations.

Ilovelblue · 29/06/2015 22:10

Jen that has made me giggle! Stalking in a supermarket!! Did the CJ lookalike have any idea what you were doing? Did he seem oblivious to his good looks?

My nephew likes looking at photos of himself on my phone and knows that next to one of them, there is a picture of CJ (though he doesn't know it's CJ of course). We went to see an old army tank which is a local attraction a few weeks ago and he wanted to know if my soldier would be there. I just said "Sadly not" and changed the subject promptly!

Kelly I think Nickel said when she rang to ask if myself and my friend could sit at the very table, they were quite nonchalant about it so we assumed she wasn't the first one to ask. I am sure somebody else on here has sat at the same table - was it Lola? My friend didn't realise it was all pre-arranged even when I just happened to have a photo on my phone of CJ and MD in the restaurant so that she was then able to check out it was indeed the very table!

Ilovelblue · 29/06/2015 22:14

Dance, orphan and pixie have you considered companion planting to get rid of the blackfly? I would have to google it for confirmation but I think summer savory is one the gardening books recommend. Also, if you nip out the tips of the plants once they have started to produce baby beans, that's supposed to help too.

BK28 · 29/06/2015 22:34

ilove the diversity of discussion on here never ceases to amaze me...had to smile re companion planting, I would just love the ones I have planted to grow, never mind planting friends along side them too!! [Smile]

Onlygirljen · 29/06/2015 22:36

ilove the baby he had was fussing a bit, and he seemed more preoccupied with that than anything else, thankfully don't think he noticed he was being stalked down the aisle by a lunatic and her errant kids!

BK28 · 29/06/2015 22:40

Jen you just never know what delights the local supermarket can hold!!! Living near to a garrison we actually seem to be in short supply of some decent camouflaged wearing eye candy. I know they have been reducing the numbers but surely not to the point of near extinction!!

Ilovelblue · 29/06/2015 22:42

Maybe they've realised you're in there eyeing them up BK and have been warned against supermarket shopping by their superiors, for their own safety of course! Wink

KellyHb · 29/06/2015 22:56

That's great Jen. It shows that lookalikes do exist. I'm always having a look in my gym to see if he's there. Theres no reason why he would be but I look anyway. I'm hoping that he might go there to get muscled up for Series 2. Grin

ilove I can imagine it being beautiful to get married at Bailbrook too. I would have CJs seat as a guest of honour!

pixieg1rl · 29/06/2015 22:58

Before we moved the local supermarket used to be right next to Cambridge University Officer Training Corps base. Tuesday evening was always prime stalking night as they had some kind of training on then. Even so decent lookers were thin on the ground. And they all looked about 12.

The better bet was on my cycle home from nursery my route took me past all the boathouses, the men's rowing team (mostly post grads so mid 20s with the most fantastic thighs & shoulders) would be on their rowing machines in front of a big plate glass window every evening looking sweaty and gorgeous.

orphan · 29/06/2015 23:38

Hmm, pixie what's the bet you used to get a flat tyre just outside the big window and end up asking for a pump and someone to fiddle with your valve?

KellyHb · 30/06/2015 00:13

Just looking through twitter and guess what. Loz law and kirsty averton are dating! He said my wonderful girlfriend has bought me a PS4 for my birthday. It says shes away when its his birthday in August. Ahhh so sweet. At least we've got one RL couple from OG. Smile

BK28 · 30/06/2015 00:14

ilove perhaps it is the old glass eye that woof spotted that is the off putting part...perhaps i'll have to go for a prince Michael of Kent eye patch ( as seen in hello magazine last week)...might improve my chances or maybe not!!!

BK28 · 30/06/2015 00:32

Laceybird has just popped another brilliant gem on the ff site! Absolutely fantastic!!

Nickel45 · 30/06/2015 00:45

Evening :) just spent a very boring three hours in a&e with DS who banged his head yesterday doing sumo wresting (of course!). First time in five years I've been, which is good, but hopefully won't have to bother for at least another five! Watched Toy Story through twice ... Yawn!

laceyird is writing brilliant stuff. kel love your latest chapter. woof afraid I have to save yours for tomorrow, as couldn't risk reading with an 8 year old next to me!!!

Night all :)

icemistOBE · 30/06/2015 08:00

Warm already. Might need the paddling pool today. Sadly I don't think CJ will be joining in the fun though

Oh dear nickel that isn't a pleasant experience but the plus was that it wasn't a weekend...that would have probably doubled your waiting time...anyway hope the DS is OK!!

Back to work today, after five weeks off, not sure how I'm going to cope with that and monitoring the daily goings on on here!! Have been taking notes from some of the highly experienced undercover agents that write daily on here!!!

Alwaysfrank · 30/06/2015 09:10

Hello all - things moved so fast on the last thread that I missed posting altogether because I was trying to read everything first. I am up to page 19 and still absorbing the news about the next series! I deciided to post first then catch up or I'll miss another thread! Alone time is at a premium at the moment - dd has now left school (eek) after A levels and I have had a ridiculously busy 10 days or so.

Kelly - I share your pain re potty training twins, if that's still ongoing. I'm still emotionally scarred from the Saturday we decided to get started with my twin boys. DH had to go out, and within the first 20 minutes I had cleared up 5 accidents between them - who knew they wee'd so often? I quickly abandoned the idea of training them together and tackled them one at a time - and they were out of nappies quite quickly in the end. That was 9 years ago and it took another 8 years for both to be dry at night, but that's another story!

Well I'd better get back to page 19 of thread XX - I really hope there's no disappointing news to come about CJ in the new series! Fingers crossed...

LolaKent14 · 30/06/2015 09:40

Was someone looking for Joey Essex in CJ apparel
I for one hope he does not visit MK in SA!

He is no CJ!!!

Re Bailbrook I took Mum for dinner there last year and we did get seated at the table but I hadn't asked for it. My Mum was well excited! Lol

nickel what a nightmare, A&E is an experience! Weekends are the worst.

What a beautiful day, I'm in work later today but for the timr being I'm chillin with a cup of coffee in the garden and about to catch up on the wonderful FF.

KellyHb · 30/06/2015 12:30

Thanks Nickel. It took me a few days to write the chapter. I could only snatch an hour a day at a time.

Hi Always. Potty training I've given up on at the moment. I'll try again in a couple of weeks. They're just not interested but they start school nursery in September. I never thought about trying them separately though.

Nightmare with the twins today though. Took them to said nursery for an induction day so they could play in new surroundings etc. They loved playing but when it came to keave, they were both kicking off, screaming and shouting. So embarrassing. It took a good 20 minutes to sort them out. Had to chuck one over my shoulder and grab the other one by the hand! All the while cursing DH for missing all these darling moments because at work! Men get off easy as sometimes! So exhausted now.

Imagining BA in this heat sunbathing in London with his (mwah mwah dahling) female acting friends etc: getting sun lotion rubbed on his hard to reach bits. I would looooove to do that. Grin

orph short shrift is def something that Rebecca needs. Haven't heard that saying for ages. Smile

KellyHb · 30/06/2015 12:48

Funny pic of Joey Essex Lola I love the way he's tried to get matching trainers to go with the camouflage Grin

Ilovelblue · 30/06/2015 15:57

I see greenstuff has brought out a new story!

Nickel hope everything is ok?

Alwaysfrank · 30/06/2015 16:11

Kelly - oh yes I remember those scenarios well, you truly are outnumbered its like herding cats. I used to go to a small playgroup/toddler soft play thing locally. Every flipping time when it was time to leave they would go to the middle of the ball pond where I couldn't reach them. I would manage to get one strapped in the buggy then they would escape while I was rounding up the other one. In the end I resorted to taking chocolate buttons with me for shameless bribery. It was all very amusing to those with only one baby to worry about.

pixieg1rl · 30/06/2015 16:38

The thought of twins makes me want to lie down in a darkened room. I remember the terror I felt going for an early scan 'just to check there's only one in there'.
