Morning.

A plea first of all. Can yo vote for Troop Aid on the below link please. It's a charity set up by my aunt and uncle. They provide injured service men and women, mobile phones, toiletries, pyjamas, clothes etc when they are sent to hospital in Birmingham. Every troop member treated in Birmingham gets something. This is the charity

Totally off the subject now but did anyone watch the England Ladies play last night? We are sporty fans here so I watched it as well as most of their other matches. In that true football expression, gutted for them. It's so noticeable however, how different women approach team sport to men and how together and supportive they are of one another (a bit like being on here) - none of this blaming and sulking the way you see the men behave when something goes wrong. They just don't carry big egos around the pitch with them. It was lovely to see that from them and all the other teams I've seen playing. Quite inspiring and a bit of lesson to the men as well.

OK feminist bit over - I took a look at the end scene of The Syndicate - definitely need a bit more of that in OG2 preferably from one of our casting suggestions - BBC casting directors take note! I was just musing that if we got put in charge of casting and writing the script for the next series God knows what would appear on screen.

Aww thanks Rhubarb! Flipping auto correct!!

I think we were all thinking the same thing at that point in The Syndicate Grin

Always ilove thanks for kind words. always sorry to hear about your Dad. Strange to say but when you're family is going through cancer, you always think yours is the only one going through those problems but obviously it's not the case. Its hard to explain really.

Just took twins to Hosp appt and it was sooo hot inside plus boys were doing the usual crying and making their body go straight so you can't pick them up-aaaargh!

Dizzydots · 02/07/2015 12:45

Have done ice, what a great idea. I remember the days of double everything Kelly, my twins are older now but it was difficult sometimes dealing with both tempers at once! 7 in the morning here and just had to turn the a/c off. 96F most days and 75% humidity but at least everywhere is air conditioned. Have looked and looked and looked but failed to spot anyone who even comes near to CJ - oh dear, spoilt for life I fear Hmm

KellyHb · 02/07/2015 13:48

Talking of OG rhu I was reading an old TV critic review of episode 5 of OG and it was saying how amazing chemistry was between BA and LT, how with them together it was one of the best dramas of 2014, how in the new series it'll be great to watch their relationship develop etc etc and that completely got me absolutely gutted again!!

I think I'm still behind everyone else but but still can't believe LT not coming back and that's potentially the last we'll see of them as a couple! ???? I know i always say this but im holding out so much hope for her to do a cameo scene in Bath or something with BA. It need only take half a day off filming EE. orph hope you're still sulking out there. Mine's back with a bang.

Dizzydots · 02/07/2015 14:20

The chemistry was truly amazing kelly, think that's the other reason I loved it so much, second only to his gorgeousness. Did you see the article a few months ago about on screen couples who don't get on in RL? I got zilch chemistry from DJ/JD in 50 shades, their dislike was rumoured but not sure confirmed. Could never believe that was the case with our favourite couple.

KellyHb · 02/07/2015 14:34

No dizzy you're right. I though the chemistry wasn't that great between JD/DJ. Its just when you think all these months on and we're still not over OG. Its amazing really. I don't think any other screen couple could match up to those two now.

Did you read in a previous thread I mentioned that Dangleberries and Jackie are going out in real life? I think they'll make a cute couple. At least one couple are coming out of OG in RL.

orphan · 02/07/2015 15:00

If only CJ and MD were back with a bang kelly... Don't worry, I'm still mired in sulkdom. Have done a home tattoo across my chest of 'CJ and MD 4 eva' and am still working on the pic which is a rather shaky representation of the kiss back in Bath.

Richtea19 · 02/07/2015 15:21

icemist I've registered, and also on DH email too.

kelly big hugs to you, I did the daily trips to Guys Hospital with my mum for Radiotherapy, daily for 6 weeks. At the time it was hellish, but looking back now, it was one of the closest times I had with mum.

I feel miffed about the Syndicate and the sex scene. BBC1 too, is because its Key Meller and she gets automatic second series etc, etc. TG if you are reading we need more than a kiss. I don't care if it's sugar tits or not, just want to see CJ in action!!, even a shower scene???

cjwoofwoof · 02/07/2015 15:48

Finally!! Blimmin RL is too cotton pickin real at times, with no time for the usual hours spent CJ fantasising and potential tour stopovers. Anyway...I blame orph .

Incidentally kel I believe my sulk is still the deepest and most morose, and certainly has far more longevity than orph but then again I've been told many times, usually by dear Ian, that I am totally relentless (although he may well have been referring to something other than sulking) Grin

Done the voting ice and used DH and DS email addresses too.

The Syndicate - very good last scene indeed and defo what we need more of in OGS2. I've watched all The Syndicate series and would recommend them all. Kay Mellor is a brilliant writer - love all her TV stuff.

icemistOBE · 02/07/2015 16:07

Thank you so much ladies x

KellyHb · 02/07/2015 16:12

Thanks rich that mustve been hard for you both. My Dad's been going with my mam each day. He had cancer in the same place the other year so its hard for him watching my mam go through it as he knows exactly what it's like.

I'm hoping that if CJ is going to have a shower scene-it had better be either giving himself a good scrub down or a special cameo scene with MOLLY and no other!!

I'm quite possessive over this couple, can you tell?!

cjwoofwoof · 02/07/2015 16:35

Sorry to hear about your Mum kel . Hopefully the silly banter on here will give you some lighter moments to alleviate a little bit of the worry.

Ditto over the shower scene - maybe CJ giving himself a good scrub over and Sugartits ogling him in secret lust fest...or maybe Kinders???

Ilovelblue · 02/07/2015 16:58

Richtea - I thought exactly the same as you about The Syndicate last night. All we got from OG was the hint of a kiss, nothing more. Confession: I watched that scene again this morning whilst I was having my breakfast!

But to look on the bright side, if the scenes had been more explicit, we may not have ended up with the amount of amazing ff we have all come to enjoy.

KellyHb · 02/07/2015 17:48

Thanks woof. I'm sure it will provide a great distraction. Or I'll be sending everyone else to distraction with my constant OG panicking.

. No way! Sugartits can keep her tanned hands off him. I suppose she could ogle but def not kinders i hope. Series 1 ruined me. I can only imagine him thinking about Molly or having a shower scene in Bath with Molly. A bit of two minute x-rated will do me.

Am I the only hoping for a cameo scene with Molly? I think if I don't get it when it's on TV, the men in white coats will definitely be coming for me.

orphan · 02/07/2015 18:00

Great charity icemist. Votes are cast and fingers crossed that it's chosen.

Might have to look up this Syndicate eps cos if ilove watched it again at brekkie then it must be filthy good, as we all know how much she enjoys a bit of snap, crackle and pop in the morning. Wink

Or maybe, I'm getting ilove confused with myself...

orphan · 02/07/2015 18:11

And woof might I just remind you that as in all matters, it is quality that is important. As dear Ian told me on many an occasion, even if I lacked your Duracell staying power (and I do believe you were assisted by battery operated gadgets?) I made up for it with sheer excellence. Short and sweet rather than loooonnng and rather painful. Remember the incident in Pontefract in '83 as a case in point

cjwoofwoof · 02/07/2015 18:32

That wasn't my fault...and thankfully the Judge agreed, as I was alone at the time with just a bumper pack of Alka Seltzer and a mallet

Rhubarb01 · 02/07/2015 19:15

Just catching up on today and thinking Kelly maybe we could have a role reversal little scene in OG2 when CJ finally comes back from being on tour in Kenya and knocks on a strange front door somewhere we don't recognise only for it to be opened by MD wearing CJ's old lumber jacket and gloves and CJ can grin at her and say "Missed Me?" only this time she will grab him by the lapels drag him into the hall and ........

KellyHb · 02/07/2015 19:36

That rhu is an immense idea. That would very much give me a calmness in my nut. I would love to see CJ getting out of a taxi and see Molly. Funnily enough I was thinking that the other day.

orphan · 02/07/2015 20:55

Hmm woof I think the judge may have been somewhat biased considering the 'mallet' was in fact his gavel and he was wearing nothing but his wig. It was certainly novel the manner in which you interpreted 'Approach the bench'...
