New the Island with Bear Grylls

Anyone else looking forward to this one? After last time I think there a BOys and a Girls island though it is just boys tonight. Roll up roll up anyone who has no idea how to lit a fire or build a shelter whilst knowing they are going on a survival program!

Checking in but this week we will be watching via Catch Up. Will enjoy reading the thread alongside.
Boys today, Girls tomorrow. Saw a brilliant clip of the girls island on Jonathan Ross where Bear told them to swim up to the island and one woman freaked and cried "but we will get wet, and we wont get a fire lit, so will stay wet!" - yep, thats the worst you will encounter in six weeks hahah!

Well, that shouty builder seems like a right twat. 'That's the hardest thing I've ever done' re walking hough a dusky jungle. Mate, try being 20 hrs older and having to do the same walk carrying a massive heavy box (lagging, other older builder).

Good point about the rIn didn't think they did. Only seem to be focusing on few of them, didn't seem 14 building shelter.

Also, someone DH knows is on this, however he's a camera man - so is behind the camera a lot and hasn't been on much so far. I do hope we get to see him more in the next bit.

They bleeped a swearword earlier. They have allowed 'fuck' and 'cunt' to be broadcast, so I'm wondering what on earth it was?!

Paul's not coming across well. Quite surprised that someone had a baby with him. I suppose different people have different taste in men.

Started watching this but ShoutyMan annoyed me. I'm thinking about going back to it in the hope he'll be a big wimpy wally in the end.

I planned to watch but need to get catch up. I did however, get a text from DD who says she doesn't hold out too much hope for people who are surprised by the tide coming in.

Day 4 still no shelter not looking good, thought paul is it the younger builder was talking a lot about how laid back he is yet saying he will still go if older builder goes very childish!

The others need to crack on I'm sire the two days training they had could build a decent shelter they need stop relying on them so much. Is love to go on such adventure but I know spiders and creepy crawlers would have me running for the hills. If however someone finds a bug free island I'm your girl.

I will say I agreed with the assessment of Paul Shouty Builder, as being like a steaming rhino but is actually right quite a lot of the time.

The other builder was much worse. Was a sulking, selfish, pampered baby.

I was really impressed with the website guy who started the fire. Showed ingenuity.

eugh so unimpressed in general! so much daft bitching and standing around talking about how hard it is....

I had high hopes for this programme, I was imagining by the end of the series they'd have a log cabin/jungle tree house and roasting snake kebabs, looks like Its going to be a dissapointment.

although the IT making fire with his glasses was pretty awesome, I think he may be our only hope!
