Corrie thread - New thread for the New Year, time for another disaster?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 27/12/2014 17:51

New thread in time for the new year - hopefully this year will see the back of some awful characters.

I would personally like to see the following rounded up and shoved in a deep hole in the Red Rec:

Izzy
Anna
Owen
Gary
Michelle
Tracey-Luv
Gavin
Faye
Yasmeen and her entire extended family
The Community Centre
Kylie
Todd
Steph

That'll do for starters.

Like Mennis. My DD calls him Des Lennis.

cleanmachine · 11/02/2015 16:35

Did someone say double funeral? ????

Yes yes yes. Less dennis (yes, it does say less, pun intended) to go please and can the other one be kylie?

KenDoddsDadsDog · 11/02/2015 19:36

Egg story is bollocks

CharityD · 11/02/2015 19:49

So the ultra sickening Andrea seems to be in charge of Street Cars now Hmm

hildasmuriel · 11/02/2015 20:16

Dev is going tonight and he is only just asking Julie and Mary to care for Asda and Aldi. Responsible parenting. I'm surprised he doesn't just dump them in the giant creche.

millimat · 11/02/2015 21:08

I was just coming in to post about how Andrea is now streetcars boss?!

millimat · 11/02/2015 21:08

Is dev being written out for a while for a reason?

ajandjjmum · 12/02/2015 10:56

I wondered that too about Dev millimat (as well as the appalling parenting!) - this storyline seems to have happened over a couple of episodes.

CharityD · 12/02/2015 18:34

Yes, the Dev storyline seems to have come from nowhere. I can understand people needing time off, but it makes no sense as a storyline. Leaving the children, who have already lost their mum, I'm not sure how long he is going for.
Just as his romance with Julie finally got started too. And is Sophie going to run the shop single handed Hmm.

Pastamancer · 12/02/2015 18:53

I think he said 4 weeks as he was going to take the twins but decided it was too long off school

Clawdy · 12/02/2015 19:37

Apparently Faye is going to keep the pregnancy secret till she goes into labour! Wasn't there a similar story-line years ago in Eastenders with Sonia?

LineRunner · 12/02/2015 19:44

God yes Big Mo delivered the baby.

afreshstartplease · 12/02/2015 20:02

I don't think Sonia knew she was pregnant so a bit different

CharityD · 12/02/2015 21:15

Norris will probably end up delivering the baby...like in the old days Grin.
It would give him something to do rather than going around stirring up trouble.

LineRunner · 13/02/2015 08:59

Maybe Martin Platt will reappear just in the nick of time.

Pastamancer · 13/02/2015 10:03

I had a dream about Martin last night, spooky

eddiemairswife · 13/02/2015 15:12

I know Martin left years ago, And I think I remember David going to visit him once, but it seems as there has been no attempt to inform him about Lily, his granddaughter.

ExitPursuedByABear · 13/02/2015 16:49

I'll mention it next time I see him.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 13/02/2015 19:45

Aw Craig

desperatehousewife21 · 13/02/2015 19:47

What a bleeding boring episode so far.

I'm getting a bit sick of Steve's depression Confused

annabanana19 · 13/02/2015 19:49

Craig is very sweet. But young Faye is an awful actress. God help us when she gives birth.

Love Julie and her jotter!

winewolfhowls · 13/02/2015 20:44

I love Craig

And I used to fancy Martin platt and couldn't work out why he was with Gail

winewolfhowls · 13/02/2015 20:45

Martin platt is a master cheesemaker now btw (or something similar)

ProfYaffle · 14/02/2015 07:42

It was boring last night. I'm really not looking forward to a month of bickering between Julie, Mary and Sophie.

ajandjjmum · 14/02/2015 08:02

And now Julie has had a complete personality transplant! This Dev/India thing makes me wonder what's going on - does it tie in with anything?
