Corrie thread - New thread for the New Year, time for another disaster?

New thread in time for the new year - hopefully this year will see the back of some awful characters.

I would personally like to see the following rounded up and shoved in a deep hole in the Red Rec:

Surely if Faye was 7 months pregnant or whatever, Anna would have noticed that she actually HAD put on quite a lot of weight and this bullying thing wouldn't have come as such a surprise.

Thought Anns and Owen were very unfair having a go at Katy re bullying.

And I've only just noticed so I have that Jim McDonald seems to have drifted off stage left so he has. No one seems to mention him being in the Big House so they don't.

I'm glad we all agree on hot swaggery Callum. I have to laugh when David 'psycho' Platt is billed as the nice guy and Callum as evil.

The Les Dennis heart condition storyline has been really badly researched.

The dialogue with the Windasses and the argument over Faye was rubbish. They all were taking offence at each other and I, for the life if me couldn't make head nor tail of it.

The Dev thing is daft. I can only think it was a sudden decision to go off for him, otherwise why get him and Julie together?

I think the writers must be on rotation. We need more Tim and Sally. I did laugh at Sally being disturbed by the chicken. I actually didn't mind the chicken storyline. At least I could understand it.

I also enjoyed hearing a bit of Wet Wet Wet playing in Sally's conservatory. Not heard Angel Eyes for years!

As I was watching last night I thought to myself that Sally definitely has the nicest house in the street with her garden and nice little conservatory. Then I worried that that was quite a Sally-ish thought to have.

I noticed Faye was getting a bigger belly two weeks, so her mother must be blind as a bat, this story is already wrecking my head and now with the mother turning up, I suppose there will be long lost letters that he never gave the girls or something and then they will hate him and he will leave and the Mother will stay, yawn, yawn, yawn.

Gary will have to make various threats to kill the person who knocked Faye up but she won't say who it is and poor Craig (who I think is a pet) will get the blame.

So glad Steve seems happier Grin not minding Michelle to much at the moment.

I have to say the best news I have heard lately is that Maddie is leaving, thank goodness for that, I bet she will turn up in something and be brilliant and I will like her then Smile
