You really are bothered aren't you sweb... Resurrecting a 2011 thread on using an interior designer as well. Hmmmm.

Didn't one of the women on fisherman's cottage programme have a degree in interior design (like yourself)? I'm pretty sure they said she did. And the man judge isn't he in charge of some professional interior design committee/soceity whatsit. I don't see how this programme is "mis-representing the Interior Design profession and giving these guys and girls false hope that they will waltz into the Interior design profession as the result of appearing on this garbage" any more than any interiors programme.

Definitely don't watch that one where they get 2 members of joe public to do it, don't know what it's called, long haired, stern, blonde lady presents it. That would quite possibly cause you to explode. :)

FunkyBold Are you on our poetic gardening thread? you'd be very welcome and we're not beginners (not even gardening students!!). Some of the gardening programmes on TV must drive you mad!

Hi - don't think so! I am a bit random so maybe. And yes they do drive me bonkers.

Arthur - is that the programme where the bloke put fake grass down as carpet and put a fishtank in the wall of the downstairs loo. Crazy programme, I was like Shock the whole way through.

I used to enjoy most of the history programmes. I still like the posh blonde girl's (I love dressing up !) but too many of them take things so literally e.g.as if we don't know (or can't imagine fgs), as you say coco they talk down to the dopey viewer,if a battle is mentioned, it has to be shown in it's full goriness.

I'm howling at those orange bollock-clingers the presenter is wearing. Is that the new red?

Ewww that room looks cheap and nasty with too many dodgy box units

Report
BOFster · 06/11/2014 19:45

I really don't see what they love about the sunburst room: it looks like a dog's dinner to me. Those white units on the floor are dreadful.

Kitsmummy · 06/11/2014 19:48

Hate the Art Deco room too (and it looks half empty) but it's not my taste at all

Report
SwedishEdith · 06/11/2014 19:49

But they're "hand-crafted" out of mdf white units

Dip dye doesn't bring a natural feel. It brings a dreadfully hippy feel. Grin

Actually they mostly look like the product of decades of tea spilling accidents.

One or two splashes might have worked, but it looked very amateurish taken so far.

Right, George Clarke's Amazing Spaces is on C4 now. I do like him, even if he is unnaturally obsessed by bi-fold doors.
