It's a hoot , everyone is so full of themselves.

Day 2 and no grey yet Shock

OP posts:
Awks · 13/11/2014 19:57

Talented my arse. They'd have been better getting a Next Directory and copying.

Selks · 13/11/2014 19:57

Aww pleased for Jack

BOFster · 13/11/2014 19:57

Blimey. Jack Bodger won!

CalamitouslyWrong · 13/11/2014 19:58

That was probably the right decision. But only because it would be easy to remove the clashing stuff and just have a grey room with a statement headboard and matching furniture. So not really because of him.

enriquetheringbearinglizard · 13/11/2014 19:58

Jack 'I haven't read the instructions and I don't intend to' who had to be told by the client to move the bed, won then Confused

Awks · 13/11/2014 19:58

and the presenter - is he off to a Bill Nighy lookalike competition, later?

CalamitouslyWrong · 13/11/2014 20:00

The judges even praised his unusable 'book' shelves.

Awks · 13/11/2014 20:01

Oh my. Tom Dyckhoff. Brilliant name. twitter.com/tomdyckhoff

BOFster · 13/11/2014 20:18

I want Sarah Beany's husband to leave her and marry him, so he could be Dickon Dyckoff.

BOFster · 13/11/2014 20:18

(But only if she didn't mind. Love you, Beany!)

Awks · 13/11/2014 20:27

Dickon Dyckhoff Grin. There aren't enough Dickons in the world, I think. Can't wait for the next baby name suggestion thread.

OwlCapone · 13/11/2014 20:41

Isn't Dickon her brother?

ppeatfruit · 13/11/2014 20:49

What I can't get my head round is that This is the 2nd round ffs It seems like the contestants in the first round were ALL better Hmm [confused

I hope that bleedin' headboard door is fixed on the wall properly;it'd give someone more than a headache if it fell down!!!!!

bambinibop · 13/11/2014 20:50

I thought we were still in the first round heats??

bambinibop · 13/11/2014 20:52

Btw totally agree with everyone tonight! What was he thinking throwing a rock at the door?! And I didn't like any of the final rooms. Stand out points were random tiles on the floor, he was going to have the bed the other way! The ladies hideous paint work on that chest of drawers. The horrible TV unit. Nope none of it was for me. And he directors chairs very changing rooms I agree!

HoldMeCloserTonyDanza · 13/11/2014 20:57

Nordic man was really really good looking.

Only nice thing to look at in the whole show!

Roll on the next round!

ppeatfruit · 13/11/2014 21:00

Well bambini They keep saying it's the 2nd round at the beginning of the programme but TBH they seem as ignorant as their contestants so I don't know nuffin' any more Grin

bambinibop · 13/11/2014 21:07

Oh...I'm hadn't heard that bit! I didn't think I recognised any of them though..oh well all will become clear I'm sure. ..maybe

WerewolfBarMitzvah · 13/11/2014 23:06

Why are the presenters so nice? Those pillowcases with the film star names on them were dreadful. They thought they were charming.
And the pillowcase laundry bags - they acted like that was a novel thing to do. Erm, me and 30 other 10 year olds did it at Brownies.
I want a full on Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen's client on Changing Room ' I hate it' and run off crying.

Cocolo33 · 14/11/2014 12:35

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that the contestants wear the same clothes for the whole process?! Why would you wear the same clothes for 3 days straight when you are doing up a room and why are the clothes never dirty? I really like the programme just this point has been bugging me!

CalamitouslyWrong · 14/11/2014 12:38

They'll have been asked to wear the same clothes to make the programme easier to edit. If they wear different clothes every day, then it means they can't mess about with the sequence of events as much.

Cocolo33 · 14/11/2014 12:44

Yes, I should have been able to guess that. Just seems funny given it should be chronological. Thanks for putting my mind at ease. (Goes back to my sick bed).

insancerre · 14/11/2014 12:53

haha
I did wonder about the clothes myself then realised it's for editing purposes
but the editing is rubbish amyway, if you watch very closely, the room goes through a time warp at times as things appear and then disappear

ppeatfruit · 14/11/2014 13:16

They should all wear overalls with the title of the programme on the back. Like the contestants on GBBO with their pinnies.

I get the feeling that the budget for this particular programme is not big Grin.

enriquetheringbearinglizard · 14/11/2014 13:48

I feel that the presenters come across less as being nice and more as being silly.

Werewolf some of these projects wouldn't have passed muster with Brown Owl.

I'm finding it harder to believe the client reactions, they're definitely not allowed to say exactly what they think.
The cameras should go back a week or so later Hmm
