anyone else looking forward to the 3rd series? has been a great run up to Christmas for the past couple of years!

The first series was so nice. Then it all got a bit silly.

Well considering how many people she's shagged Gillian has been brilliant and not getting pregnant again after Raff, hasn't she? Not sure why she'd mess that up now, although there's always bad luck.

Can anyone tell me whether Raff is Raff's real, full name? I've never heard it before. I'd like to see more of Raff, Ellie and the baby. They are sweet and Ellie particularly is an interesting character.

Rafferty? Raphael? Ralph? Ralph spelt Rafe?

No doubt we'll meet her seven long lost adopted children in Series 4.

Perhaps Kate has an even lovelier sister? Or cousin? Yet to be discovered in the USA.

And it's high time Laurence's best friend (can't recall name) had more of a story than simply "+1"

And perhaps more of that wonderful school!

I had sort of assumed (why I don't know) that Lawrence was gay and the mate was his boyfriend. It surprised me to see him chatting up those girls at the wedding!

Whereas I really liked the fact that having his best friend tagging along was one of the more naturalistic things in the story. It rounded him out. So often in soaps (TV and radio) we're left asking "but doesn't s/he have any friends?"

It has really gone to shit, hasn't it?

Loved it at first.

The idea of Alan & Celia.

Loved the characters.

Now it's just a soap.

Shame.

i did like how Celia seemed to be the sensible one at the end re Alan & Gary.

but it was tempered with the desire for an upgrade!

Yes, i think Derek jacobi will want to leave - he will die and hopefully not come back as a ghost to haunt Celia! Gill and caroline get together?
