Katherine Parkinson is a very versatile actress though.

Oh dear, wanted to like this but it made the plot of " The Syndicate" ( gritty deserving northerners win millions on the lottery) seem plausible.....very similar themes to her usual dramas, valiant Wimmin and useless men .....could have been interesting and God knows there is nothing else to watch......

you can see the plot coming from half a mile away. I don't know why Mellor is seen as anything more than a soap opera writer.

Well, I thought there would be abit more humour in it! I've always loved Will Mellor. It's true though most of the actors seem to play the same parts every time.

Oh I liked it, had a bit of cry when the crash happened but that could have been more to do with the song being played, I'll stick with it I think

The bank robbery storyline really pissed me off. How ridiculous! Otherwise I thought it was OK.

I agree the bank storyline was ridiculous...the only believable thing about the relationship in last nights episode was when she shouted at him about not being able to find a job in the five months since he was made redundant.

I quite enjoyed it, but I'm needing something like this to take my mind off daily life!
